I believe you. The search function on this forum is a bit of a mystery as to how it works.

For the future I recommend just going to google and typing in "________ gladiator forum"

By doing that I've had much better luck finding whatever I was looking for.
Google can search in domains so you can do an advanced search by typing -
site:jeepgladiatorforum.com aux switch install
and so on.
That will search the forums for your words that follow the domain name.

Forum searching is a commonly talked about issue - regardless of the forum or the software used. Some may do well, but in my experience, Google still trumps them.
The only negative is searching in a forum where you must be a member to see posts......Google can't access those areas.

I started down the path of adding factory aux switches on my JTRD but aborted that quickly and instead installed a VoSwitch “grab handle” system for less $, less hassle on install, and more switch options.

The kit was not designed for the Diesel so I had to do some very easy mods under the hood that would not be necessary with the gas engine.

Ya know, yall won't believe this but I did search both the install and the existing wire questions and found nothing. I also physically scrolled though the respective subforums looking for a post that would lead me there. I figured something so coveted would have been covered and was surprised when I couldn't find it. Maybe it was my keywords, maybe the forum just hates me. Either way, thanks for answering my questions.

Why don't you just install aftermarket switches from one of the many manufacturers like Voswitch and Lasfit? And you don't have to be bothered with the PCM. The Lasfit switches look like stock as well. And the install is a lot simpler.
