OP It sounds like you just got cheap LEDs which is exactly what I would expect to happen.

Can anyone confirm this happens with oe LEDs?

I am looking to upgrade from my stock halogens to oe LEDs but certainly dont want that problem.
It will happen with any LED headlight due to inherently producing less heat. This is why we designed a heated lens variant of our popular Oculus headlight.

Mine do the same. As Oracle states, this happens to ever Jeep LED unless it has a heater element on the lenses

Maybe a 12 volt fan and some flexible dryer duct to use engine heat to keep the lights clear?

I live where this should not be a problem. I got caught in a nasty snow storm last year on the way home from a trip to Sedona. I was down to about 15mph until a big truck came by that I was able to get behind and follow.
I was thinking this exact same thing!!

Case in point last night, nearly full white out.
Love my hella black magics. Lights simulate headlight beam pattern, thats what got me home safe without having to stop every 5-10 mins. Look at my fogs!! Packed solid.

This works OK, provided the washer fluid is heated. Otherwise it just makes things worse.
No thanks. The stupid little wipers freeze down and are worthless. The whole system ends up being very expensive to maintain.

This is why newer Volvos like the one in the top photo just have a heated high pressure wash. No wipers. The headlamp washers on my S80 come on about every 5 applications of the windshield washer.

If I'm driving in a lot of crap, I just need to trigger the washer a couple of times very briefly to get the headlamp washers to come on. They work very very well.

The bottom photo is a V70R. It hasn't been made since 2007. I believe that is the last Volvo with wipers on the headlamps.

I was thinking that would be an easy add for me. But just noticed the winch. So I'm guessing you aren't using the factory plastic front bumper.

Maybe a wiper washer could work but I agree it would need to be heated.

I disagree. I have OEM LED’s and drive through mountain snowstorms with regularity. I never have an issue

In cold snow, no issues but when its right around the freezing mark with heavy wet snow, it always packs up. This is a known issue in this type of snow and other cars arent immune. My wifes bronco with factory LED headlights did it a few days ago.

Had the same happen with my factory LED headlights & fogs while returning to my home in NW Ohio from my sister's place in SE Michigan at Christmas.
Heavy wet snow conditions like this are very common in this part of the country in winter.

My similar solution was to use a set of halogen PIAA 510 ion crystal fog lights that I had kicking around. They have a nice tight beam pattern that doesn't blind oncoming traffic, & put out more than enough usable light on their own to see where you are going. Added bonus, they generate a lot of heat to keep the lenses clear of snow & ice.
