No sir, no market adjustment! If you order one (assuming the dealer is not a dick) it’s the price as ordered…. however, if you were to find one on the lot like this, you’ll be paying 15 to 30k markup regardless of dealer ?
Not trying to rain on your parade and hope it works out for you. I only parrot what I have seen and heard on them and it makes the warts on the Gladiator and Wrangler not look all that bad in comparison.

TFL awhile back bought a 4 door version and it was nothing but trouble for them and repair parts were almost non existent and having to wait for something to be built and shipped from the UK.

Did you pay and adjusted market add on BS? I have heard that Land Rover forces buyers through the dealerships to only purchase within the closest dealership local to them. Supposedly it is to keep buyers from dealer shopping and trying to keep all sales MSRP minimum with many hotter markets like California allowing dealers to have stupid high ADM pricing due to supply constraints.
This isn't true. My friend owns a Land Rover dealership and he has plenty of customers from an adjoining state with dealers closer to them. ADM pricing is based on the dealership itself, not Land Rover. My friend won't go over MSRP. He has a lot of repeat customers and feels he'll make more off them in the long run, buying more cars, vs trying for a cash grab now and potentially lose future business with them. Plus at MSRP, he's making more money now on each car than he was pre-pandemic.

True I saw it also. They went through 3! Of them! Catastrophic dysfunctions……
Tfl did like it but it took 3 to be able to experience it….
Edit; best of luck! Enjoy!

Dang I hate to add more fuel to the fire but my friend bought one, drove it two weeks and it spent 4 months at the dealership. Got it back, drove it for a month and sold it. :(

I love old school Defenders also, but it’s nice to have all the doodads and creature comforts. I hope you guys have luck with it and many miles of enjoyment.

It’s always a crap shoot when you buy a new vehicle. Forget the naysayers. Don’t fret over it. Just Drive it and enjoy it. If it turns out bad, trade it in and get something else. Life’s too short.Go have fun.

Beautiful family BTW. . . ??

Yup, 3 out of my last 4 Jeeps were problematic, so I’m used to the gamble:) the doodads are simply outstanding!

Been a good ride all! I have both supported Jeep over the years and often dogged Jeep publicly (while driving one?).

Over the past 20 years I have have developed a fondness for the rugged capability of these toys, and will undoubtedly reminisce and look at the pictures of all we have done with our Jeeps getting us there…and smile!

However, I have sold my last Jeep (JTR). I will miss all you knuckleheads, even @ShadowsPapa !

Cheers all! See you on the trails just in a different ride!

Homage to a few of our Jeeps over the years ? snuck in a pic of the replacement as well!

Just get some portals and 38's and it can follow a stock JT. They ride nice on the freeway so keep it there. Kind of reminds me of a Bronco. Anyway,, good luck.
