I took my Diode Dynamics SS5s off of my Tundra and am going to put them on the Mojave. I think they look better mounted on top of the overrider bar, but I'm wondering if that would hinder airflow into the radiator too much where it might cause a problem. They do not fit mounted under the over riderbar. And I think functionality of the lights would be relatively the same mounted either way. Any thoughts??

If your instrument cluster is like mine and you can see an actual engine temp number you could run a 30-45 minute driving test comparing the placement of the lights to what temps you get.
Love the avatar BTW 👍

not a bad idea to monitor the temp gauge...

This is the setup I'm using:
Maximus-3 "JL/JT DUALLY AUXILIARY LIGHT BRACKET Model JL1007AB" and the KC Flex-era 4 lights. This keeps them pretty low, but I have had some issues with heat while towing my camper on the highway.

How about mounting them to the underside of the bar?

They don't fit on the underside of the bar, but after looking at @Lexicus setup, I may attempt something like that, not sure how much room I have. I'm not planning on towing anything with the Mojave, but I do run a heavy payload at times.

I'm also being lazy and don't want to take the bumper apart to install these, haha. I can mount them to the overrider bar or mount them into the overrider bar holes, which is there they are in the picture, without taking the bumper apart.

I have a road trip coming up at the end of the week from CO to NC, staying in the Outer Banks for 2 weeks, then coming back home. I might just mount them in the overrider holes for the trip until I have time to mess around when I get back.

I'd mount them outboard on the bumper, anything that can hinder airflow to the radiator is not a good idea. Just my opinion...

Well, scratch that, I can't fit them in front of the overrider, so guess I'm just going to mount them on the outside for now. Then when I get back I'll try to find a different solution maybe.
