Yeah I said in my post he's either an idiot or gaslighting me, but I'm definitely leaning towards the latter.
This is why I used the Costco vehicle purchase program. Probably not the best deal, but it was hassle free. I had to drive almost two hours to get my JT. It was worth it.

As mentioned above, at the very least talk with the sales manager. I'd go in person but with the distance can see the problem. If talking with manager doesn’t alleviate your concerns, it would be time to find another dealer

The start of this topic is unnecessary to start another internet opinions based on one that everyone has. You are the boss spending YOUR money for YOUR car, you can demand the best services if not walk away and go to another stealerships. There are thousand of stealerships to earn your business.

Why are you so hard up for this one? Are they passing BOGO deal?

Did you call him?

I'm not seeing anything rude or difficult in he text (which is a horrible means of communication).

I mean OMG he's WRONG on one thing "Never" and must be an evil mean horrible sales guy because of that.

But ACC from my understanding is not available on the Gladdy right now. So he is right.

You’re assuming the salesman is an idiot. He’s probably just trying to convince you to settle and take a vehicle without ACC because the delivery time is shorter (hurry up and get commission). You’re assuming the manager didn’t tell him to do that.
He's a liar or an idiot, or both.
Either way it's not someone you want to be involved in a $60,000 transaction.
And it's not up to you, the OP, to fix their problems for them.

Yeah this started on the phone after I raised the concern initially and he told me to “do my research” and then followed up with it “never” being available on the gladiator. He’s expressed no interest in actually researching the question himself, instead has just insisted I’m mistaken despite showing him Jeep’s own website.

well I started to see if there was any better option than just walking away considering the truck will be delivered whether I do or not. It seemed like a good deal at the time (6% under invoice) but from other convos it sounds like I can do as well or better elsewhere.

Buy your Jeep elsewhere, then visit that dealership and show that salesperson and his manager the ACC in the gladiator you got at another dealership because he said it wasn't available.

Pictures kind of say it all here. I’m not sure how to even deal with this guy at this point. After I placed my order I saw the thread about ACC getting dropped from new orders. Tried reaching out to my salesman and this is the response I got. As I said in my text above there are relevant supply chain issues, but to say it’s NEVER been an option is patently false. I’m not sure if he doesn’t know his product or if he’s just trying to gaslight me into a sale. Any advice I’d appreciated.
Well he's untrained.

My '19 JLUR has ACC. I still have my original window sticker ......you want documentation to provide that clearly displays it's been and is available?

I would call the GM and tell him to send my deposit back. When he asks why, say it's because you aren't getting what you ordered and the salesman wasn't helpful.

Switch dealers. He’s wrong, and is digging his heels in instead of double checking. They don’t deserve your business.

get on the horn with Gupton and get what you want and save yourself some money in the process.

Daniel is the easiest going guy in the car business you'll ever deal with.
Gupton? Forgive me but I’m entirely new to jeep world lol been in Subarus for the past 8 years
