Aftermarket Aux switch control

My gladiator does not have the aux. switch option. I was wondering if any one has maybe added some micro switches etc.. to use like the aux switches?

I am assuming the the aux. switch plug is behind the dash?

At a min can someone tell me what the plug looks like and maybe the pin out for the plug?

Handful of options out there, in process of doing this myself.
I have sport trim so where the aux switches and rubi lockers switches would be is that open cubby. thought VOSWITCH for either grab handle or oem area. Settled on rough country mlc controller, since with either the upper or lower I could swap out with custom switches and still have clean look. I'll replace the generic RC switches with some some toggle switches

Planned uses
Switch 1: Bumper amber trail lights, so I can see a bit better at night on the trail
Switch 2: maybe extra light.. maybe cowl IDK see above.
switch 3: Accessory cable cutoff (Plan on using to have an air compressor in future to plug in from access point instead of gator clamps for a portable.)
Switch 4: Winch cut off (Really unneeded, but just safety net just incase to not turn power cable into welding wires.)
Switch 5: GMRS Radio cut off (Unneeded as the radio has cutoff and inline fuse, but why not if have extra switch. I'm more apt to see a lighted switch then to remember to turn the radio off...)
Switch 6: Spare May plug it or have dummy switch

IMO, better off getting one of the after-market options and not trying to tie into that connector which handles things via radio settings and the BCM.
Z Automotive, Lasfit (do I have that right) and there's some that fit nicely on the grab handle (or rather in it).
You get a lot better control that way.

I like the VOSwitch options. You can get a 6 switch pod that goes where the factory aux switches go or a 4 or 8 switch setup for the grab handle.

I didn't feel the 6 switch pod was unfairly priced.

I have a Voswitch JL400, it integrates nicely into the driver-side grab handle and looks factory. Also really easy to reconfigure if you change your setup.

Pretty easy to install, and is affordable, $215 bucks, same as almost 2 years ago. I use it for my GRMS Radio, Onboard air, and Reverse lights (old pics). Last switch is going to some ditch/knuckle lights.

The also have other options, including some that mount into the factory location, with up to 12! options.

No, they all come with their own control systems, relay boards, whatever, depending on the brand/type you get. They won't just plug into an existing harness. There's not going to be something that simple.

You aren't going to find anything that's just a plug-in solution. There's no harness there if you don't get the factory aux switches. The install kits come with that harness/wiring and so on.
The relays and fuses for the factory aux switches are in the PDC - with the rest of the fuses and relays.
Anything you do will have to be completely added, wiring, relays, fuses, switches, all of it.
No plug and play solution.

I prefer the integration of the factory system - I can configure any of the switches to latch, be momentary, ignition feed or battery feed, remember last condition and so on. Some of the after-market may do that, but not via the radio settings.

You'll need to figure a relay and fuse for each switch you use, you'll need to find an exit through the firewall or through the cowl area like some do. By the time you build something, and do it correctly with properly sized wires, a panel for relays and fuses, whatever, you'll have a lot of hours involved. So it depends on your skill level, parts you have and time you have- what's your time worth.
I do build a lot of my own stuff, but then I've been in auto electric for decades and have drawers full of various wires, a drawer of crimpers and connectors, sockets, relays, and do a lot with acrylics (sort of the 70s retro look)
You'll need to size the wires and relays and fuses correctly, make good solid connections and weather-proof them or risk burning the Jeep to the ground.
If you are confident in all of that - go for it!
But some things will be just as much work either way - you still have to get through the firewall, find a place or way to mount switches, and run wiring harnesses and connectors.

Dumb question:

Do Jeeps have pee existing wiring to allow for running, extra lighting, for instance, or does it require you to run wires? If you run the wires, what is the easiest path, through the cowels (I hesitate to open mine because it would require removing part of my Adventure Rack System to access them)?
