Rock Hard have a set that replace the lightweight stock sliders and attach to the body in about a dozen spots. I ordered a set, but they still haven't arrived. They have excellent reviews and are super strong and thick, made in USA. You can get the angled up or down for an even lower step, which is neat. I went with the lower ones for the easier step.

The ACE ones i really like how they complement the stock ones but looks like they cost you om the breakover angle? Also like the ones from JCR but seem to require drilling which is a no no. Also like the ADD but pricey. Heck just gonna stick with stock until those are done

Are you sure? It looks like they use the body mounts + the factory tub mounts where the rock rails are mounted to. At least that's how their JL ones work.

On the Ace Engineering ones. You do loose a bit of break over angle if your Gladiator was at an angle. If you're going up and over a hill, your frame and bottom skid plates will probably hit before the Ace Engineering sliders.

I just looked at a couple of videos, they do seem to sit slightly higher than the frame.

@ACE Engineering would probably know, and might be able to take a picture at the lowest points of the rock rail :). I would think not knowing that could be detracting from some potential sales imo.

Can you post a picture from the top looking out from the driver seat? Trying to see if the step would be enough for the kids to use. Def on top of my list right now
They work great as a step for children and shorter passengers. Most customers purchase them for that purpose.

talk with a local 4x4 shop, you don’t pay shipping on items they carry/have in stock
