Wish I had some more time - I'd connect up to mine and dig with the tablet. I don't have the aux switches, wish I did now, but can still snoop. But we're taking off in 40 minutes so I gotta wrap up stuff in the shop in a bit.All AlfaOBD shows is Aux Switches CSM Present as an option. None of the other options. Crap
That's where I'm at (although my orange wore isn't perfect) used tazer and it shows switches in settings...grrrBack at it again this morning.
Aux switches don't illuminate when headlights are on, and they don't activate the LED when pressed. Depinned orange wires from the connector that comes with the kit and directed connected them. No change. Inspected orange #13 wire in the large connector, looks perfect. Obviously the only way the kit module by the brake booster knows to illuminate the switches is that orange wire. It's the only wire in the kit that integrates into the truck. All fuses tested good.
SOO>..
Gotta be programming? My radio shows the Aux Switches, as I did "Aux Switches CSM Present: Yes" in AlfaOBD, but that is all I can find in there after looking at the options over and over.
Anyone aware of anything else?
Did you do a full reboot after setting the tazer settings ?That's where I'm at (although my orange wore isn't perfect) used tazer and it shows switches in settings...grrr
I found under car config change- Cust.Set.Menu 1:Auxiliary Switches SCM Present. that option gives meBack at it again this morning.

LOL! SO the pop-up that says "turn start button to run". Its that way with all programmers. DoSolved mine. Goof fekking grief....
It was AlfaOBD and me not knowing its quirks.
I had tried programming with start button on ACC and RUN with engine on. The only thing related to Aux switches was:
Configuration Aux Switches CSM Present
I set this to Yes yesterday and this morning the Aux Switches showed up in my radio but the buttons did not light when pressed, relays didn't click when pressed, and the switches did not have illumination.
Googled my ASS off all day and found something in the RAM forums about having the key in Run but NOT engine running.
There was a new setting when I connected via AlfaOBD with ignition set to RUN but no on:
Suspension: Configuration Aux Switches PTO
Yes, in a suspension category that doesn't show up in the other key modes I tried.
I opened this option up and could choose 4, 5, or 6 switches. I set it to Four Switches and the change immediately took effect and THEY FREAKING WORK. Illumination, light when pressed on, and relays clicking happily.
OMFG.......
Anxious to hear about you getting yours resolved @Fishee .
The paper with MX+ said start engine. The option didn't appear then! Crazy.....LOL! SO the pop-up that says "turn start button to run". Its that way with all programmers. Do
want to help getting the GC seat working with Uconnect that I installed in my JT? Funds are currently low to complete this projct.
That's how most of these work - jscan, alfaobd, etc.Googled my ASS off all day and found something in the RAM forums about having the key in Run but NOT engine running.
I have noticed that each option has 2 settings. most of the program apps say to set to acc or run.. something like that I dont really read it anymore, I work on all my vehicles with different readers/ programmers. The paper with MX+ said start engine. The option didn't appear then! Crazy.....
The challenge is the fun part. You cant learn this shit in a book and there are a few around way smarter then the rest of us..The more I read, the more I realize my dealer can charge whatever amount he wants. Much respect for being able to do this yourself or even trying!
