In case anyone is interested, I have the actual exact dimensions of both the stock JL fob and the AJT Design fob.

Here they are:

AJT Design JL, fob: 2.97" x 1.51" x .69"

OEM/ stock JL fob: 2.96" x 1.77" x .75"

So it's slimmer than the stock fob, and apparently folks complain that the switchblade key comes out accidentally when it's in your pocket.

This still seems like a fairly large fob, but anything smaller than the stock JL fob has got to be better. The JL Fob is a BRICK.

The more recessed panic button is itself a great attraction with this. I wish I had a dollar for every time something else in my pocket has actuated the panic button on my Ram key fob while I am working in the yard or the barn.

I just swapped one of my keys into an AJT case. It took about 10 minutes. 8 of which were me trying to sandwich the covers with the battery in it. Took a little longer than I hoped. But the case feels good. I got the gray one. It does feel much smaller, for sure.

Make sure to watch the install video - there was one piece I didnt realize I had to get out of the old fob. It's a small transponder for emergencies.
