A lot of people on this forum have replaced their halogen bulbs with LEDs. Almost everyone uses Alla for the fog LEDs. I purchased Headlight and Fog Light LED Bulbs form Alla. They've been installed for about 2 - 3 months. The other day I went out after dark and noticed a glow coming from my Fog LEDs. Come to find out the bulbs were allowing a small current to go through them, which results in the dim glow. I removed the LED bulbs and replaced them with the original bulbs and there was no issue. I disconnected the battery, waited a minute, reconnected it and then reinstalled the LEDs. The glow was still there. I do not have a Tazer or JScan. It seems to be 50/50 of people who have replaced the bulbs and then gone in with the Tazer or JSacn and changed the setting. When replying, please state whether or not you changed your head light setting with the Tazer or JScan.

I called Alla and they said I can purchase an additional part that may eliminate the problem, but they could not guarantee it would solve the issue. I am leaving for a trip in 2 weeks, so I put the original bulbs back in and plan on trouble shooting this when I get back. Does anyone have any experience with this problem or any suggestions on how to proceed. FYI their head light bulbs are working great. The LEDs make a BIG difference from the halogen bulbs, so this is well worth exploring.

Would replacing the entire Fog Lights (rather than just the bulb) with LED Fog Lights solve the issue? I don't think it will, but there are a lot of people on this forum way smarter than me who can answer these questions.

Thank you

I'm guessing that the part they said they could give you is a resistor. If your fogs have the canbus technology built in, then you really shouldn't need a resistor but I guess you could try it. I bought Lasfit switchback fog lights and I've not had the issue at all. I have not tazered my system to tell it that I have LED's either.

My turn signal lights are a different story. They work normally outside the Gladiator, but inside I get a fast signal and I'll be putting the resistors they provided onto them this weekend.

I haven't had an issue with mine, and they've been installed for over a year. I do remember using JScan to flip all my settings to LED though.

I have Alla led headlight and fog light bulbs, no issues, I have had them for over 6 months and didn’t change anything when I installed them, plug and play.

Over a year now with Alla fog lights and I have no issues. I did not flash mine for the first 9 months of install but I was getting the hyper flashing inside with the led turn signals Installed but not outside. They had to do a ECU flash on mine when they did the steering box replacement and they had to flash the computer and to clear the code for it to take so my dealership flashed my computer for free in February for LEDs. But before that I wasn't havi.g any issues out of the Alla's and still am not having issues..they have been great.
