Hi everyone,

in a process to change some stuffs Im curious to know to which lift height I can go with 35's and keeping an harmonious look ... it would be sad if the tires looks too small.

and second question maybe more technical... about adjustable control arms... is it absolutely needed to use them? asking that because here (Belgium) it doesn't seems allowed by law to have those after market parts on your vehicle.

Thanks guys have a great Friday evening

My two cents…anything over ~2” of lift, there’s a chance you might not be happy with the appearance (if you’re asking this question).

I’ve seen a few JT’s on 35’s with ~3.5” of lift and I think it looks more like a stocker on 285’s (tire to wheel well gap ratio wise).

OP…on your second question…that’s one of the reasons that I’d be inclined to go with a smaller lift. You get up over the 2” range, you’re talking more parts to replace, bigger budget, and for me…I’d have to break out a measuring tape and see if I could even get it into the garage at that point, lol.

OP, in your case, if you want a lift then I advise the MOPAR 2" lift.
They are factory parts and should be within the law in the EU to use.

Keep in mind, a Rubicon does NOT need a lift to fit 35's.

it's the reason why I installed the mopar... in fact I bought 2 different lift ... the molar to be within the laws AND the Clayton 2,5 and first did a spacial mix ;-)

every parts from the mopar mixed with Clayton springs and adjustable trackbars

I loved to but had to change the springs due to awful noises ( squizzing like a little bird each time on a bump) and recently I removed the Clayton trackbars due to a huge klonk

actually im full mopar and not that bad but have some mods to do absolutely ( steering gear etc etc and I will use this occasion to change also drag link and tie rods.

Yes - the front axle will no longer be centered, the caster will change (be lower) and the control arms will no longer be parallel with the ground. That's about the limit without really needing to add more money and parts.

My question to the OP would be - if there's a problem with after-market parts in that country - uh, what about lifts? Some locations even frown on changes to the center of gravity.
Using the MOPAR lift you at least remove the "after-market" parts bit - they are factory parts made by MOPAR for MOPAR vehicles and even covered under the truck's warranty or their own, which ever is longer.
Example - if you just bought the truck and it would have a 3 year warranty over there, the MOPAR parts have a 2 year warranty because they are MOPAR parts. But once installed on your truck, they inherit the truck's warranty because it's longer.

installing a mopar lift willl leads you to .... loosing all your warranty :) :) :) yes in fact here the lift isn't available ... even at in the official dealers.... and about mine ... since it's an US specs JTR they refuse to apply the warranty. official answer from dealer : its not an European so the "Belgian" importer refuse to apply the warranty ....

about the steering gear, I came to the dealer with the TSB they checked and said... nope we don't have anything about this issue . the only recall we are allowed to do on an imported is the radio firmware upgrade
