I would be curious why Crutchfield says it DOESN'T fit the JT when QT and Morris 4x4 and others say it does.

It will fit but there is no integration of the steering wheel controls.

Because Crutchfield doesnt sell the Scosche Integrated Control System that Quadratic sells with it.

I too am interested to know how it all works together.. Its a bummer that it has to use that craptastic Scosche screen instead of being on the Alpine screen for the on screen stuff (like climate controls).. That would be a serious contender otherwise as CarPlay takes up the whole screen instead of only a portion of the factor 7"'s screen.

Dimensionally it will fit (smaller than the Kenwood and Pioneer units) but as was said, it doesn't support the typical iDataLink integration packages. Following this thread because I'd like some feedback on this one as well.

I found this thread some time ago where a Maestro rep states the radio does support their steering wheel control unit so that can mitigate that assuming it's compatible with the Jeep. The major issue will be anyone doing the 7.0/8.4 (I'm replacing a 5.0) and losing any of that included functionality. I know I'll lose my menus as well but I can't recall the last time I was even in there for something that wasn't audio related.
