Talking with my local dealer who has found exactly what I’m looking for. ‘21 Gladiator Diesel. He narrowed it down to a few in Oregon and Texas. I’m in California. It’s got every bell and whistle I’m looking for. MSRP is at $61,XXX, total with fees was originally at 67,600 OTD. I’ve gotten it down to $65 OTD. Can you guys look at this window sticker and tell me if you think I should push harder? I’d also have to fly out there and drive it back.

Looks very high at first glance. If you have a buyer‘s order showing the breakdown of fees and any possible dealer add-ons (e.g., paint protection, window etching, etc.), that would help in getting opinions.

I have a JTR diesel on order. It should be delivered in January. MSRP on it is $60,605, about $800 less than yours. My total, including taxes and fees are about $56,600, about $8,400 less than your out the door price. Comparing apples-to-apples, I would be paying about $7,600 less than yours factoring in the $800 higher MSRP that you have. No, I don't think you are getting a good deal.

Differences... you are getting a vehicle that is available now, albeit not near California. I have to wait 8 to 10 weeks.

You should be able to get a much better deal.

If you are going to fly and drive might as well order one where oil burner ordered his or One of the dealers on this forum that give crazy deals.

Search Rob Trachtman on the forum. He's in SoCal and has I believe 4% below invoice. Also, look into Tread Lightly membership. $100/yr and gets you and FCA discount of 1% off invoice.

Just wanted to update: so damn near fully loaded ‘21 diesel rubicon with these features for around 61-62,500 (deal hasn’t been finalized) OTD. Any insight as to whether I can keep pushing? Currently 4% under invoice with not only Rob Trachtman but a local dealer that matched it. Just wanted to see what everyone thought in regards to getting any more knocked off. Not really seeing any more than 4% off in Southern California I guess.

If you buy yours from Gupton Motors in Tenn, you can get 6% under invoice without question. Add another 1% if you have an FCA number, which you can get with Tread Lightly, and another 1% if you finance through the dealership. Is the extra 2% to 4% off your existing deal, or $1,200 to $2,400 worth it to you to buy from a dealership in Springfield TN? That's for you to decide. You might say that to buy from a dealership in your backyard may be worth the extra cost. For me the answer was yes to buy from a dealership away from my home. Plus Daniel Gupton has a great reputation from others here who have purchased from him.

One thing to add is also factor in the documentation fee. Every dealership charges this after the price is determined. If you were to negotiate a price, and the dealership were to charge a $999 documentation fee, and another dealership might have a much more reasonable fee, that might make your decision easier.

Thanks and I forgot to add the order sheet.
