Nice build. Wheels/Tires, Camper setup is very complimentary.
Sits very level. Was it re-sprung for the camper, or are they adjustable overloads?
Any change in sway bars needed?

I think we are going to need a trail/camp report with lots of pictures.

I've only seen the kinda similar Alu-Cab campers on a JT in person, which seem to be pretty popular for touring down here. I'll have to let them know it's "sub optimal" so they can cancel their trips before someone gets hurt.

I have sumo springs for a Chevy half-ton on the Gladiator and I'm going to add Airbag Man airbags. The camper was designed to go in a Gladiator/Tacoma bed, it weighs 1090 loaded and I have been hauling the camper with a stock ZR2 for the last 4 years. I had to run a 4" high platform in the bed of the ZR2 so the camper is only sitting 1" higher in the Gladiator and it's sitting on the pickup bed floor and the ZR2 didn't have a rear anti-sway bar which the Gladiator has.
I absolutely love the camper on the Gladiator, especially the increased stability and taking off from stop lights, freaks people out, and my experience last winter with America's Most Wanted was epic. Current gas mileage with the Gladiator/camper is 10-13 with <450 miles on the new motor, the ZR2 got 11-14.
I have owned a Six-Pac slide-in, Outfitters pop-up, Adventure 80RB, Arctic Fox 1150 (4300 pounds) and now a Total Composites camper and I think my present camper is my forever slide-in camper, does everything well.

seems sub-optimal. Lots junk in the trunk for a vehicle that sucks doing real truck stuff.

Real truck stuff like towing 8200lbs 600 miles including 1 pass that gains 4k feet in 18 miles and 20 miles of washboard dirt roads to get the lumber out to our property to build our cabin? Our 1200+ pounds of pavers and concrete for more off grid projects? Or are you talking 1 ton truck stuff because obviously it's the wrong truck for that? If you need it to do truck stuff AND off road stuff there's literally no better truck on the market. The power wagon, raptor, and TRX/RHO are the only other real off road trucks on the market (bison zr2 fits, but the spare in the bed eliminates it from real truck stuff), but none of them fit on about half the trails we run. When the "driveway" often looks like a river, I need a real off road truck 1st.

I'm a big fan of the Colorado/Canyon, but the setup with your Gladiator just looks right. Like it was made to go together.
Like all the work you did on the inside of the camper too. Very usable space.
Seems like the perfect hunting rig to me.
