Annoying steering wheel reflection

Has anyone else noticed this reflection off the shiny part of the steering wheel on top? It is almost in my line of sight anytime the sun is out. Anyone have solutions or fixes or do I just need to get over it?

You can either get over it, or find some flat black tape to put on it.

If that's happening in the dark you can turn the dash brightness down at night

Sorry, just to clear, I meant the red rubicon dashboard panels. It's on days that are really sunny. Which is almost every day here. Hahaha

Dial your dash lights down, right hand wheel to the left of steering wheel.

Yes. I used to get the sun reflecting off the wheel right where your arrow points to.

I added a a small strip of matte black vinyl to cover it and the glare is gone.

I have a Ring camera mounted too close to the solar panel that charges it. Putting the tape on the bottom of the solar panel got rid of the night glare from the IR lights.

Update: I found that some black vinyl and a razor blade works really well. Looks pretty good to me especially since I’ve never done anything with vinyl before.

It's a tilt and telescope wheel. When it comes to reflections a change of just a couple of degrees might solve the issue without going the black felt or vinyl route.

I find that the reflection of sun off the cross arms is more of an issue.

I get the Rubicon reflecting off my seats in random places as the sun crosses it. And there is a screen off button for the stereo!
