I wondered what was being talked about - thinking, naw, can't be that vent hose........

Can you believe they actually forgot to put that tube back on?
I called this afternoon and had a serious talk with the service manager about this.
I asked him how they could actually return a vehicle to the customer in that condition, and I wanted them to put their top technician on it and get everything perfect.
They didn't even reattach the clamps holding the hoses to the engine.
I would be totally embarrassed to release that kind of work.
Tomorrow I will be calling the general manager.

I worked late pushing dirt. I had to clean up and eat before I pleasure myself 😁. No dirty thoughts!
Definitely have to get cleaned up before the beer.
When I spend a long day working in the yard if I don't get showered before sitting down with some cold ones, I might not take the shower.
Unless of course the wife gets in first. :like:

I got word from the dealer the CEL was from P0330 Knock Sensor circuit 2 so their now replacing that.
I also pointed out that they broke the Power Steering reservoir mount on the Battery tray. They said they would fix that too.
Eventually I might have a Jeep again. 🤪

Pretty sure that is going to necessitate replacing the whole battery tray. That is a bit of a pain as there is plenty of stand offs, brackets and Christmas tree clips that attach to it and taking out the aux battery also. Need to look over the work pretty good if they replace it to make sure they did not gack up something else.

Edit: Here is a pic of my engine bay when I took the battery tray out for doing a full aux battery delete. The battery tray goes all the way against the firewall and also requires disconnecting the fuse panel assembly.

True.
I think I would rather just ziptie the power steering reservoir to the tray than have them dig through all that. I also have my own electrical additions that they would have to mess with and I don't like that either.

Might be able to fab and install a "L" bracket also.

That would work and be a lot easier than a new tray. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll balk on the tray and I can slyly negotiate for something in exchange.

Whew!
Service Advisor just called. They're replacing the reservoir. It looked to me like a piece broke off of the tray but I'll take a new reservoir over having to dig out the tray any day.

Yeah, that is probably a better outcome.
