I have a new 2025 nighthawk with under 500 miles on it and noticed that when the weather is cold (under 30degrees f) It gets a small patch of coolant on the floor beneath the engine Has anyone else heard of this issue thanks

Are you sure its coolant and not water? As in a condensation overflow bleed from running the heater?

I'm totally spit balling that these truck's systems are designed in such a way. So, may be a true leak for all I know.

I have 188K on my JT. I've had two coolant leaks in that time. Let me preface by saying that my JT gets beat on by rock crawling and towing regularly. It puts in work.

1. At 144K I replaced the coolant reservoir. It was broken underneath where it was hard to see. I bought another reservoir and the problem was fixed.

2. At 177K, I had a coolant hose leak. I had to buy all three hoses. And it was at my friend's shop when they noticed the leak. As soon as I touched the hoses to remove them from the jeep, they crumbled in my hands. But.... that was at 177K. If you take it to the dealer and it's the hoses, don't be alarmed when they charge you for three hoses. The hoses are in three sections. And they were a dealer only part at the time. I think I paid around $150 for all three.

Just a couple things that it MIGHT be. Hope you get yours fixed.

This is where my leak was. It only took me a year to find it! It was the O ring that wore out.

You got lucky. Mine was completely broken at that spot. But... A new reservoir was only around $40 and it only took about 30 minutes to replace. And I was watching TV. Lol

I was having a case of where did the coolant go. Had it to the dealer once and they said the pulled vacuum and psi tested the system with no issues.

Fast forward 2 months later when I was installing my lift...........I found the leak. The coolant cross over tube under the radiator.

So when I took it back to the dealer to have the right rear axle seal done again......they replaced both rad hoses and the cross over tube and done

Must have been a Friday part on a three day weekend. It's not typical but you do see bad parts on new vehicles. Sorry for your luck.

Unfortunately…this new world we live in…. Quality has gone out the window. 🙄
The vehicles these days have sooo many parts that come from sooo many different places - inconsistency in the quality control of the vehicle ‘as a a whole’.

It’s a good thing the issue showed up that quickly…. The dealership can’t try to walk their way out of it. ☺. I surely hope the new one (and the install) was done with care and you don’t have problems again.
