On the left side of the wheel, the arrow that points right. On the right, the cruise control cancel button. It works by tricking the vehicle into thinking the transmission temperature is spiking, so you'll see that shoot up, but it isn't actually happening. Go back to the indicator for coolant temp and you'll see it drop quickly.

I noted that their instructions state the transmission temperature would read 229, which is getting up there. I couldn't see much of any other way to accomplish it - trick the system.

Yup, because I'm happy not using it as a daily driver. :) for adventures only, and it has provided a lot of them, and plans for many more. 50k hard trail miles and trailer pulling. Still has the original brake pads. JTMT

2020 Gladiator Rubicon - I bought mine 7/24/2019 at 11:22am. It now has 66k miles. The batteries are both dead and it is stuck in the garage temporarily. I have a 2003 Tomb Raider Rubicon (another 1st year Rubicon product) to serve as my backup.

Nope, not an OG........I had to build my new house/sell my old house before I ordered my '23 JTM.....was worth the wait minus the un-tunable PCM/ECM

2020 Overland. Got it in June 2019. Got over 183,000 miles. Quite a few upgrades but also quite a few self inflicted issues. It gets put to work and sometimes beat to hell. Rock crawl, offroad, tow and haul, and daily drive. It's a mule.

I got mine fixed earlier this year right before my warranty ran out. It took 2 repaints to get the paint to match and nearly 15K of work. The bodyshop manager strongly suggested that I trade the truck because I was out of warranty. He said they were getting a lot of JTs and JLs coming back to have other areas repaired that did show corrosion before.

Flush, or drain and fill?
Drain, was advised years ago by a 70 year old who owned a trans shop to never flush a trans too much potential to flush debris in to solenoids. I have a F250 that has a drain plug on the pan, every 10K I drain 6 quarts out and refill it. 285K on the 250 now. At 100K on the Gladiator I did replace the trans pan with a aftermarket two extra quarts of fluid and a drain plug.

Its an entire thing at the dealership. "Thing" meaning intensive $850 service.
I took mine to the dealership at 50K and ask for a trans service, and I think that I scared them. They told me that it was a lifetime service don't do it. I ordered my parts online and after watching a few videos it was not that hard. I replaced my trans pain with a aftermarket unit that has a drain plug which will make my 150K chang a peace of cake.
