Haha. On thanksgiving, I sit exactly like the front dog does.THE ROAD CREW!![]()
The seat folds up and gives more floor space, if you take out the underseat divider thing (it doesn't support the seat, you have a large flat floor.so he jumps to floor, then up to seat? I guess I should have mentioned I dont have my gladiator yet so I cant experiment. ha
I got seat covers.I have cloth seats and bringing my German Shepard in the truck gets hair stuck all over.... what do you guys do about this? Ha
It’s awkward for dogs to get in the back seat imo. When the backseat is down, there’s not much room for them to jump on to the floor, then to the seat. I have that plastic tub under the seat, so putting seats up wouldn't help much with that.so he jumps to floor, then up to seat? That tub is only held in with 4 bolts and it provides no support for anything. Our problem is ours won't use a ramp, they freak him and he does more damage trying to avoid it than it helps. He can get into our Envoy but it is not easy. Needless to say, he is not a ride dog. The vet and going down to our families river camp for summer holidays is about his only rides. It’s awkward for dogs to get in the back seat imo. Yeah...its just not designed well nor safe to let dogs jump in/out of the back of my JTR...its too far....too narrow(land on floor) and too high (land on seat). The awkward rear door opening makes it really bad. It’s awkward for dogs to get in the back seat imo.
