Or go doorless.

That's what's great about having a bed.
Some things I don't like picking up and just tossing into the back of the truck.
There are still some places that require masks - make sure they are in the console or glove box or they'll exit the vehicle. I had a bag of stuff from a store - things started blowing out of the bag. I had to stop and tie the bag closed.
We have to empty out anything my wife has tucked in the cubbies, if you have anything on the dash, it will leave, anything like books, papers, folders, it leave the truck. I had the top blow open on a cooler that wasn't latched.
Near empty water bottles - gone.
It's a good way to clean out your truck!

Best tool for removing roof bolts and door pin bolts:
RYOBI P344 18V ONE+ 3/8-inch 4-Position Lithium Ion Compact Rotating Power Ratchet

Spiderwebshade is ideal for sun protection. And you can leave it installed when you put your roof back on.

Tube doors are not needed unless you are on the expressway and exceeding 50 MPH. Without doors, 70 MPH is scary for the passengers who have nothing to hold on to and unnerving for the driver even if holding onto the steering wheel.

Best mirrors money can by: CMM offroad mirrors that attach under the grap bars.

Enjoy!

After the first couple times taking doors and top off, I picked up a cordless screwdriver with pivoting head just for that purpose. Small enough to fit in glove or console and doesn't have enough power to strip or snap anything. Got the whole process down to about 10 min.
Im in NY and rule is if doors are off then side mirrors are needed. Got some cheap ones off amazon that bolt into the door hinges, they move in the wind but with no doors seeing behind is easy.
I haven't invested in a door holder or hanger yet, for now I just nest em standing with some clean cardboard between on a stack of cardboard or foam. The top i set on a couple of saw horses with a piece of foam or some packing material on it.
Im also looking at some tube doors, the tyger ones on amazon, got the tonneau cover and side steps from them and been happy with products so far. Just trying to figure a way to take em with me on trips...

Send the Mopar cover back and get a rain gear cab cover. Top notch product that will fit down the road with whatever combo of tops/doors/mirrors you end up with. Nothing else made comes close to their fit and quality.

Forget the tube doors, they are a waste of money (and just plain ugly). They don't add any crash protection at all. They are useful for rock crawlers and that's all. Lots of mirror options that attach to the hinges on the body.

Tons of door hanger options on the web, even Amazon, mine hang on the garage wall.

Lastly, spend $150 on a safari or bikini top. Quadratec has quite a few that cover and seal out rain. They don't seal between the door and top, but will keep 99% of the rain out. Pull your drain plugs and leave them out. If your carpet gets wet, pull it out to dry.

Also, not having doors and getting a little damp once in a while is just part of Jeep ownership. I haven't had my top or doors on once in the last 5 years. I daily drive my Jeep 7 days a week living in SW Florida.

Wow, we've been clear of that for a while.
A place where my son goes to get his glass eye polished has a lot of older patients and asks that others coming in wear masks. I think they may be associated with the U of I hospitals, not sure. Iowa City. Otherwise most places, even doctor offices, just request people still be kind and leave space and masks optional. Iowa has been far more lax on such things so I was surprised when I went along with my son to Iowa City and he explained yeah, they still request it because of the elderly patients there. Fine, a medical facility, and I believe the Social Security offices still required it as of last November - federal offices and all.

What MVJK2015 said! The Rain Gear cover will fit with the rear top in place. I'm in SE Alabama where it's 50% chance of rain throughout the summer. My driving profile is freedom panels out (placed in bed), front doors off (stored in garage), Jpeggz mirrors/foot pegs, Rain Gear cover on when parked. If I see a thunderstorm in my path, I'll stop and throw the freedom panels on. I still get wet from the spray coming through the doors, but not soaked. I also keep a towel handy to wipe the spray from the inside of the windshield.

I've got to at least try the Mopar cover since I own it but if I'm disappointed, I'll send it back and order a rain gear. I felt sure the Mopar wouldn't be a choice I could go wrong with but I should've asked here first. They look to fit pretty similarly but the Mopar lacks a cut out for mirrors. Now I'm looking into a portable garage type thing. I own an EZ Up but to memory I'm pretty sure it's not going to provide clearance. I feel like if I make a cart for storing the doors and top and a can properly cover the Jeep, I'll take the doors off more often. We have a lot of bears around here and they sometimes break in cars. I'll leave no traces of food in it, but that factor does worry me as do teenagers.

I have a soft top, too, and I swap tops in April and December. Don't forget to unplug the defogger and, as others have said, be careful with the plug cover. You'll love the hinge pin guides. People LOOOOOVE to hate on the cheap hinge mounted mirrors because they vibrate. All you need to do is see any vehicles behind you in either lane, not read their license plates. This can be done with a pair of mirrors that cost $20, and BTW, if you can find a a pair of used JK hinge mirrors on CL or Ebay, they fit, too. You don't have to buy a pair of CMMs that cost $200. Our tops will also fit on JK hoists if you can find a used one of those as well. Have fun!

Well, the 10 day stretch with no rain in the forecast has already been made a liar. It's absolutely pouring sheets right now. I'd driven to work with the freedom panels off and had to run out and put them back on. I'm soaked but only got a gallon or so of water got inside lol. Gonna be a foggy Gladiator on my drive home. I'm kind of glad this happened though, because it's all the evidence I need that I have got to be able to cover this truck in a hurry should thunderstorms pop up out of nowhere.

I should probably post this in “Unpopular Opinions”, but -

Not sure it’s worth the hassle to remove the top and the rear doors when it’s only me and maybe my wife. It’s naked now and I’m procrastinating putting the top back on (can’t use a hoist). With just front doors off and SunRider open (or freedom panels stowed) you get 90% (?) of the feel while having instant sun and rain protection.

Disagree? Is this Jeep blasphemy? I may just be older and lazier.
