Why not auto? Control?
I live in Deep South Texas. 110 degree summer days. The only setting for me is max, LO, recirc, and either 3 or 4 on the fan speed. I'm not leaving my comfort to chance.

Auto seems like it is more suited to people in nicer climates. Texas weather is not nice.

Very true, and agreed. My concern stems mostly from myself being an OCD, type A, only child, hardheaded person that doesn't trust others to work on my shit because they (usually) won't treat it as nicely as I would.

Also, thanks for the image of Lizzo playing the flute..day ruined  :CWL:

Wife's 2023 Gladiator was bought brand new about 4 months ago and has 6k miles now. All stock Sport S that we haven't had any issues with until a few days ago. While she was on a ~2k mile road trip she called and told me that the AC "seemed to stop working". The fan will blow air consistent with the ambient temperature outside. My first thought was maybe a small leak in the AC system that's caused a gradual decline in function over the past few months, but that would be the first I've heard of it on these trucks. She's got an appointment with the dealer in a couple weeks, but in the meantime has anyone heard of something similar?

FWIW I did have her cycle all of the AC systems (recirc, max AC, different fan speeds, etc).

Thanks for any input, will update the thread once we hear back from the dealer.
Any updates on what the cause / solution was?

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Has worked flawlessly for 3 years and 1.5 months - then this. Out of warranty of course SMH dreading dealer appt

6,000 miles on mine and something similar is happening to me.

With remote start or at idle with fan over “level 4” speed the air only feels cool. If I lower fan speed to 3 and under it’s cold. If I’m driving it’s cold.

I have no clue why it’s doing this. I’m guessing it’s losing Freon.

My blend door stopped working after it got a crack in the plastic and it started leaking the strawberry daiquiri I made for my wife. I'm assuming from too much ice in the system.

I replaced it with a new Instant brand blend door that has heavy glass and it's been flawless...

Interesting. I bought mine in July 2021. 3 years, 1.5 months later mine is acting the fool. Drove from Pensacola to Orlando, 7 hours, as soon as I hit I10 today, it started blowing low volume air. @Reo Cook mentioned about junk getting sucked up from the glove box...that's a good starting point for me.
