Anyone install Xtrusion overland rack?

Anyone out there with this system of overlanding rack? Seems like there's a lot of options for how to build and allows for certain tonneau covers to be used as well. If you have it, do you have the gull wing side panels that lift out of the way? Do they stay open on their own, or do you have to hold them up? Is there a lot of extra rattles or wind noise? Not planning on mounting a roof top tent. Mostly want to be able to haul kayaks, fishing gear and recovery gear as well as have room for other gear in the back and be able to secure it above the level of the bed. Thanks for any insight.

I recently received this rack, it is extremely stout and you can order whatever height or configuration you like. Tons of options. The north/south side and top bars can be moved up down or side to side, whatever spot you want. Powder coated aluminum ?

Was happy to find this company as it’s an option to make the rack compatible with the BAK tonneau cover.

Did not order the swing up or slide out parts, as I wouldn’t utilize those.

Still waiting on a couple parts to finish it, ie off road reinforcement plates for the four corners, RTT tent brackets, and a couple additional east/west bars to mount my Thule box when not running the RTT.

I've looked on their website and cannot find any specs. Do you know what series extrusion they use? The bolts they sell seem more for common 15 series 1.5"x3," but it looks big.. is it 45 series (45mmx90mm)?

Like you, I'll be pairing with a tonneau cover but mine is the Truxedo Sentry CT so I'll need to confirm with them that it will also fit.

Exactly what I am saving my bottles and cans for. I want to use with my BAK cover as well, and mount an RTT/recovery gear. Looks good with the offroad plates. I am glad to hear the customer service is good as well.

Matt over at ozark overland adventures has one that is alllll decked out and it looks pretty awesome.
Only down side is lack of security and prevention of dust and water

I have had mine for a little over a year now and couldn’t be happier. The adjustability, flexibility, and quality are all fantastic. It’s not the cheapest rack, but I also have the bak revolver so it’s a wonderful pairing.
