Ive never been a fan of TPMS sensors, needless to say we ran without them for years...I dont want to break open my OEM wheels simply to get the TPMS sensors out for my new tires/wheels...Is anyone running without and any issues? I would use Jscan to disable it, just wondering if there is any downside (other than not having it).

YES.. (Still in the tires; however, they came from my '16 JKU wrong frequency) Have turned off since Aug '21 when putting 35x11.50s on and the "chalk test" showed should be 27 psi Cold. Used the Jscan to turn off the TPMS.. 11 months now.. just check visually and when servicing with Snap on gauge. The downside is .. puncture while driving not getting an alert running low and blow-out.

Also not using them since I swapped wheels. No issues after using JSCAN to disable it.

TPMS saved me from running a tire down to the wheel while in our Sorento with the whole family in the car at midnight in the middle of nowhere. The occasional inconvenience on the dashboard does not, in my opinion, outweigh the (free) safety benefit.

You can get new sensors on rockauto for about $30 each if you can support and they are OEM. I don't remember the model numbers but I've posted on a previous thread a few weeks ago.

I went to different tires and wheels, turned the TPMS off with Tazer. I have had no issues.

I remember typing in the new model number from someone else and they were pretty cheap. Check it out. I dont have the part number on hand as i never ended up needing them but someone else did.
