ARE Gladiator Shell Pre Order

I haven't looked through all 14 pages here, but I've never seen a gladiator with a soft top and a bed cap. Would the soft top still open and the "man bun" portion sit on the top of the bed cap?

I've also never seen a Gladiator with the top off and a bed cap. Just out of curiosity as to how it would look...

As this is an ARE thread, I realize you are interested in an ARE cap and that is 100% good with us--not trying to sell you off of it. Hah noted and thank you for the link. I am interested, but I don’t have a soft top. I just found it interesting that it’s pretty much all hard top owners that get caps. I was also curious how one would look with the top off.

Im not in the immediate market, but I do want one of your caps in the future. They look great and appear to be a quality product. I could use some extra bed storage. Sorry for the distraction/hijack.

According to a chat I just had with ARE, dealers can now preorder the CX Classic. https://www.4are.com/product/cx/
They could not offer a price as that is for the dealer. I will report more once I get that info.

Did anyone remove the plastic side rail covers before installing ARE Cap?

Has anyone bolted the cap to the truck and ditched the stupid C-clamps???

I left it on the plastic and kept with the clamps. I upgraded the clamps to better ones. I have taken the shell off a couple of times so want it easy to remove.

190 lbs. I think ARE says 185. I weighed mine after I put he Kevlar on.
