I'd say try and snag up some used OEM's or go for a reputable brand like Oracle or Diode Dynamics. I've had Oracle's for the last two years without a complaint in the world, I got them from a member here for really cheap, like $400.00 and they were new in box.

Based off the only two beam pattern pics in the reviews, I’d stay away.

Those are horrible patterns, and would likely be a minimal improvement over the factory halogen, if at all.

I mean that price... I was going to snag a set of the Oracle Bi-LED projectors And honestly I am having a real hard time making a final decision. The only option I did not get was the LED front head light package because i felt that $1500 was a ridiculous price. Now here I am still researching and trying to be cost efficient without sacrificing too much quality. Then in come these Kiwi's The reviews look good but I don't trust amazon reviews.

Aside from these anyone have any recs for a set of LEDs with a halo at or around (love to be below) $500? As far as these kiwi's $197 is a hard price to ignore.
I had these on my JT for 3 years and had zero issues with cutoff or anything. They’re easy to install and a great alternative to more expensive units.

A word of caution...
Some of the inexpensive LED replacements use washers & springs on the mounting screws for aiming. Be sure you get some the have adjusters built in to the light housing! The ones I have (posted earlier) do, and they're a breeze to set.

This is actually something I really didnt put any thought into, is there a good guide about the proper way to align the headlights?

There are several headlight threads on here regarding headlight aiming.
A good housing will have height adjusters. It's assumed that a properly built headlight housing will point along the axis of the truck, so no lateral adjustment is provided.

Basically, you want the cutoff on the low beam to be the same height as the center of the headlight at (IIRC) 25ft.

I have the oracle bi-led headlights. I like them. I've gone down the road on previous vehicles buying amazon/ebay cheapos and always regretted wasting that money. Based on everything I've read on here, go Oracle or Diode Dynamics. Morimoto Super7s are nice too.

Most aftermarket lights on the market are also on other sites where these company's buy them.... have them branded and placed in boxes with their logo and sold for 4 to 5 times more. My current lights are from said site ... they are also branded as Raxiom and Rough Country ... but mine were only $150 shipped. Knock on wood ..... been strong for a few years now.

LoyoLed makes good stuff. I’ve had mine for about 25k miles. No issues. I have the 7inch dragon eyes model with the 9inch bracket though. The link below is to nice looking 9inch headlight that they have. Great customer service as well.

I second Loyo, I use to sell lights and use to order from them and had the least amount of issues out of their lights. I like the housing on my JT factory lights so I went the led bulb route but the 3.5 inch round lights on the front of my JT bumper are Loyo lights. Been running them since May if 2020 and no issues. They still burn bright and I use them often. I paid $50 shipped for them, straight from Loyo, 3 days from China. If I end up switching headlights it will be for their 9 inch headlights they sell.

Sort of my thinking, But those Oracles at $660..... I have an amazon gift card I wanted to use and Oracle has a store on amazon but their pricing on amazon is about $100 more .... lol?
that's why I hate amazon... some brands sell there for even cheaper than their own website. Amazon charges a lot to sell on there, (one reason why you'll never see sayagainover.com stuff on there...) I don't mind when brands sell on amazon for MORE, but less is just stupid. I get it, it's a huge market but man, what a waste. It's for lazy people to get cheap stuff... Amazon is just the American Alibaba now...

So your saying it's lazy to buy stuff cheaper? Seems like it would be smarter to buy off Amazon it than car and you will probably get the product faster as well

No, that's not what I'm saying.

People now shop exclusively on Amazon, as if the brands they buy don't have their own websites. To stay competitive, those brands must bow to the Amazon gods and sell their stuff on Amazon, paying LOADS of fees. Amazon can crush just about any business, at any time. I know people who have Amazon businesses, where they literally sell things to people that are too lazy to buy them cheaper elsewhere. There are entire business models where people find whats "hot" on Amazon, then list those items in their Amazon store, then when people buy them, the business buys it on Walmart dot come, or some other site, and ships to the Amazon customer, who paid MORE for it than the business did. That's just dumb to me (my opinion).

I try to buy as little as possible from Amazon now (I used to buy daily, terrible). It's easy to jump on there and have your items in a day or two, but bigger picture, it's terrible for us.

I'd rather support the actual brand I'm buying than Amazon. Plus, seems like half the stuff on Amazon now is cheap chinese crap copies... even all the brands on Amazon, so many great brands like: ZZEEEOXX, ZOZOX, WANGTUNG, XOTHILUE, etc... lol...

Hope that clarifies a little...
