I just installed the Oracle Occulus Switchbacks this week and I'm very happy with the lights. My only rub with them is that if I want the halo's lit up during the day, without the headlights, I have to turn the light switch on manually to the running light position. The halos aren't powered independently without the headlight on or running light switched on. I'm not sure why Oracle didn't tap the DRL in thier harness to get around this. I've seen people in other places have said the same thing so it's not just me. Oracles response is "turn the running lights on if you want daytime halo's". Just a minor inconvenience but worth mentioning if anyone is considering these as a replacement.
I am surprised they don’t have halo as DRL. I had mine installed in about a half hour. Beyond easy. Put the DRL wire into the fuse tap and I was set. They look amazing. My halos are on all day long. That’s kind of shitty that they did that. I have a similar situation with my oracle fogs. I bought the Oracle fog, lights with white halo. The fog lights hooks right up and they are plug and play. But you are left with no halo unless you go out and buy wire and wire into a fuse tap. Everybody says just to tap into the DRLs, but I’m not doing that.

The Gladiator on the right has LED bulbs in a halogen housing. The Gladiator on the left has Mopar LED lights. The Gladiator in the middle has halogen headlights.

I still think the factory led looks best here. I tried the led bulbs. 3 kinds (Good ones). They definitely looked great. But the color was just off. I also had a 2020 ram 1500 Laramie prior to this Jeep. I am coming from a vehicle that had one of the most amazing LED packages. I was a little spoiled. The best part of owning this jeep for me, and for everybody else, is that there is an endless supply of aftermarket parts. It seems like everybody gets to buy some thing that they like.

Thanks to everybody who replied. I was in a pinch and literally had to drive an hour and a half to go pick them up shortly after making this post. I had them installed within 30 minutes! First time doing it. Very easy install. All plug and play and the fuse Tap was an easy set up. I will buy the diodes soon. These oracles definitely make me happy until then! I ended up paying $200. I don’t regret it at all. I like that the halo is on all day with my running lights. The cut off line is very sharp. I also have the Oracle fog lights with white halo, but I haven’t figured out how to wire the halos yet. I am not going to tap into my DRL Wiring. I’ll have to go out and buy some extra wiring. It seems silly that Oracle did not include a couple extra feet of wire to screw into the drivers side fog light (from the passenger side) and then an extra few feet for a fuse tap. I guess that would make too much sense ?. Here are some shots I took. So glad that all the halogens are sitting in a box in my basement !

I love my Oracle lights. Not a fan of the Diode Dynamic looks, but the features are awesome. I love the clean simple look of the oracles. I recently noticed that the bezel underneath the projector was starting to melt and deform. Contacted Oracle and they sent me a brand new set and said to keep the others. Awesome customer service this time. I have the black bezels as well and it’s hardly noticeable it worth the warranty replacement while I could do it.
I had the same issue with the satin silver versions with the plastic melting underneath, just days after install. I believe the projector magnifies the sun and melts the plastic. I was able to get some satin black warranty replacements and haven't seen the issue yet. At the end of the day, Oracle was awesome about it so props to them.

So no good on the Tazer. I tried every configuration available along with the full reboot and 2 sleep cycles between each one. It took a minute, lol. However I was able to get a change out of the selection for turn signal location. It activated the amber halo's to stay on all the time and strobe as turn signals when activated. Then when the headlights or parking lights turn on, the amber halo's go white like normal and function as amber turn signals when activated. The only way I can see to make it work is to physically tap into the truck drl wire and jump it to the halo wire of the lights. Just not sure what happens if the halo wire is supplied power from 2 separate sources and the $600 I paid for the lights just doesn't seem worth the risk for me to try it. Anyway, thanks for the idea.
Here’s the settings I have which enabled the fender light drl.

I'm not sure which version of the Oracle lights you have but I've been running these headlights for the last couple years and have no issues whatsoever. I think in the future I may or may not go with the DD ones but for now I'm happy with them. I know some guys do the halogen upgrade to drop in bulbs but it's just not cool being without the cutoff line.

But yeah on my version of the Oculus lights I was able to wire it into have the DRL be always on when the car was running. However on my JK the version I got for that one they don't have the option to wire in a daytime DRL. On the JK the DRL only comes on with the headlight.

The version I have are the switch backs. The white halos function as amber turn signals when activated then switch back to white after the turn signal cancels. The white halos are only powered on when the headlights are on, or when the dial switch is physically turned to the parking light position. The issue is the halos are powered from the parking light circuit and not the factory drl circuit.

Anyone know which wire on the truck harness is the drl wire? I might try unseating the white halo wire from the supplied Oracle harness and move it to the drl position of the truck harness. There are only 3 wires used on the Oracle harness so the remaining positions are empty. One of those should coincide with the drl wire from the truck harness. Oracle supplies a fuse tap to power the halos from a switched source which I'm not going to do since I can already just turn the knob to turn them on. Powering them from the already available drl circuit just might work.

Take a look at their instructions for the non switchback Oculus headlights, it’ll show where to put the fuse tap and wiring.

I bought 2 harnesses from quadratec one for each side and tapped some aftermarket turn signals and the DRL wires off there.
The harnesses themselves plug inline with your fender placed harnesses.

Thanks. That's nearly identical to the harnesses that came with the Oracle lights except for the fused wires. The pigtail leads coming out of the harness have 3 wires with a connector on the end that connects to the light housing halo wiring. I'm assuming a power wire for the white halo, the turn signal wire and a ground.

I'm thinking maybe those harnesses were the previous owners setup they added to the Oracle lights. So you can easily splice and switch the wires over with the DRL wire instead with some butt connectors. Those harnesses weren't part of the original setup from Oracle.

Oh, no I bought them brand new from Oracles web site. The OP bought some from someone eles used. They definitely came with the harnesses I described. Here's a screen shot from their site on the switch back sku.
And I was incorrect in my earlier post when I said there were empty slots. Clearly there are none.
