Asking experts again. 3.5 lift after removing 2.5 leveling spacers in front.

I’ve got a 2025 Gladiator currently running a 2.5" front spacer leveling kit. I’m looking at upgrading to the 3.5" Rough Country suspension lift, but I’m trying to wrap my head around how the height and stance will actually change.
Since I already have the 2.5" spacers up front, the new front coils would only net me about 1" of additional height once the spacers are removed. The rear, on the other hand, would gain the full 3.5".
What I can’t picture is how the Jeep will still end up “level,” since the kit claims to eliminate the factory rake. If the rear is going up 3.5" and the front only 1", it sounds like the bed would sit much higher.
For anyone who has installed this kit (especially coming from a leveling spacer setup), will the overall height difference be noticeable, and can someone explain how the stance ends up level with those numbers? Would love to see pictures if you have done this as well, before and after.

Ill try not to comment on the quality of a rough country lift but, find out whether they measure 3.5 from the front or the back. Most likely they measure from the front which means 3.5 inches up front and less in the rear.

Will it be a noticeable difference? Or Should I just speed money on something else? I guess what I am saying after it installed, and I go to get into it, will I notice i higher jeep all the way around and my firend I ride with notice the difference, or will it look like it is now, just looking a little different with high? I mean if if not going to be like a wow factor, don't know if I want to spend $1K plus on it.

2.5" is a huge leveling spacer. Are you sure the truck doesn't sit nose high already? I know the mojave sits 1" higher in the front than other models but mine only had about 1" of rake stock. With the AEV 2" spacer lift it sat the same as the front and rear spacers are both 2". Ended up going to metalcloack 3.5" springs front and rear and it still probably has about 1" of rake. Loaded with camping gear it's about perfectly level so I'm happy with it. No experience with rough country springs, but typically the fronts are a little taller than advertised to account for added nose weight from winches and bumpers that are common mods and to lessen factory rake. I'd guess you'll see more like 1.5" over the 2.5" spacer and then probably 2.5-3" in the rear.

If the kit says it results in a level stance it should result in a level stance.

I assume you’ll notice the difference. Why your friend noticing matters, I’m not sure.

Ditto. If the claim from RC is it's a 3.5" lift and removes rake, then it's a 3.5 lift that removes rake.

Here is picture with 2.5 leveling spacers. It’s sit level, it’s not higher in the front, it sits level.

I did basically the same thing, had a 2.5" kit on it that provided some big 2.5" spacers up front, and 1" Spacers in the rear. I swapped out the spacers up front for some 3.5" Teraflex springs when I upgraded the control arms and sway bar links.

It wasn't noticeable taller, but it definitely did gain some height as I wasn't rubbing as bad off roading anymore (or worried about the boat anchor spacer falling out while flexing).

Depending on what you have on the front of your Jeep (bumper, winch, ect...) you might gain anywhere from 2.5-4" of lift.

If you are running a spacer "Lift Kit" now, it probably came with some small 1" Spacers in the rear. Honestly if you didn't know they were there, you'd probably miss them. The RC 3.5" Kit will come with spacers too. I'd say install the front and look at the stance, If you want the rear up a bit more install the rear, if not then don't. YOu can do one without doing the other, just don't lift the front to the sky and leave the back low (nothing mechanically wrong with that, just looks like a dog with worms dragging his cornhole on the carpet)....


As far as the RC Kit, for a majority of drivers the quality of the components themselves are fine (not great, just fine), but the kit is incomplete. Your truck is probably going to ride like crap until you upgrade the shocks and get some adjustable control arms or control arm drop brackets. RC is the bare minimum to get your truck in the air, use it enough and you'll find the gaps.
