Yup, another post announcing leaving. I wanted a full size truck and ended up going with a Lightning. Bring the hate

Also, if anyone bought a used 21 Mojave (or others) and didn't get some of the extra items, feel free to reach out to me https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...t-set-free-treasure-coast.85299/#post-1378864

No hate here. Great choice. Lightening sounds/reads awesome.

Will be an interesting experience. I’d be interested to read how u get along with it relative to the ICE powered Glad.

If they sold an all EV Gladiator here, retained the front mounted inline driveline and solid axles, I’d do whatever it took to buy one.

I cannot wait for the day they do an all EV Gladiator. Decouple from the hydrocarbon supply chain for good.

I just need an EV that turns me on. And that could only be a Gladiator at this point bc it’s the only ICE platform that turns me on.

Goodluck w the Lightening.

An electric gladiator would be pretty sweet. Probably more reliable too

I traded a 2017 F150 4x4 SuperCrew with 750 mile range (36 gallon tank). It was not a good idea to look at how much the pump rang up when I filled up. Just look at the gallons. I did average 20 mpg over 110k miles

My two tall sons had moved out and I didn’t need all that room anymore. Traded it for a ’24 Gladiator.

I think the Lightening is a damn handsome sob. A well proportioned pickup.

I admire Ford for bringing it to market so quickly. Timing is always hard with tech transitions.

It’s likely their initiative will pay off down the stretch.

I’m not into the rolling lounge room / IFS side of things.

Stick around and keep us informed of lightening life ;)

My local Ford dealer is offering an extra $2000 off any new Bronco if you trade in a Jeep. Duval Ford in Jacksonville, FL. 2.9% financing, too.

I will keep my 2024 Gladiator Rubicon X with 0% financing, thank you very much.

Good luck with the Lightning. Ford stock needs all the help it can get after taking a severe beating due to EV losses.

Enjoy
I had a Ford lightning as a rental. Great vehicle, lots of room, quiet, comfortable, fun and responsive to drive. The less than 235 miles max range (with heat and ac off) was a deal killer for me. We take a lot of road trips. If somehow forced into an electric, I think Hybrid is still the only way I'd go. I have a 2011 Lexus Hybrid I bought new that now has 240k miles on it, 48-53mpg and still going strong. My kids have been driving it for 4 years.
