I always get a kick out of seeing those square delivery vans going down the highway, and the front of the top is solid black LMAO

So the nannies on this site tell me to never speed, wear my seatbelt, no auto washes, always wave, park next to other jeeps. Anything else I need to be told to do?
For God's sake man don't tow anything with your pickup truck!

Haha jk, I'm just a little 'triggered' from an ongoing discussion in another thread ;)

Mine went through so quick the first time I took it through I drive right back up and told them to send me through again. I thought the machine was messed up because I’ve used that car wash for several years. Then I realized the jeep was going too fast. Idk if it just went over the front bump stop in conveyor or what. But I’ve had to tap the brakes everytime since to slow it down till I feel the nudge push me forward. I’m going to do the hand brake trick next time. I thought I was going crazy the first time it happened to me.

Ya, if I can see the Palm Trees, I'm good...
:like:
DAMN, Swamp Nut that is a bitchin looking truck! Well, except for the side pointing lights but I don't do any serious wheeling in mine so yours probably makes good sense.

Hey, I know this is off the "bitch-about-carwashes" subject but what brand/type side steps are yours and are you happy with them?

Thanks, and yes, the side lights are the MOST useful lights for me. I do like to wheel at night, and they not only help with tight turns, but also give a cool glow to the landscape. Out by Salton Sea there's a place that looks like you're on the moon, very weird. And doubly so with those lights, I feel like a lunar rover.

The rock rails are from Ace. They are my second set, I had them on two JKURs before and 100% love them. SO tough, they really took a beating and never bent. They work fine as a step. Good textured surface that is not slippery.

I'm lost ... whose side lights and steps are we talking about?

Maybe they ask because she is hitting the brakes and messing with the conveyor? I've used an automated wash numerous times with no issue.
Tapping the brakes can eff up the conveyor big time. Seen it happen once with a car in front of me—came to a full stop and alarms were sounding.

Nice try. I know you ran out and installed those since his post. The ratchet still on the hood gave it away. (Nice stuff, BTW.)

LOL!! The "mount" is just a simple aluminum spacer since there was a bolt in the right place. And a longer bolt of course.

I can't say strongly enough how much the side lights help, above all other lights. Everyone who wheels with me at night ends up getting them.

Maybe it just feels like it bounces more than a typical car with the tires/ suspension perhaps?
