Awning hoist in garage

Used a Harken hoist that I got from a forum member for a good price . Works well lifting my 72” CVT 270 awning mounted on Yakima round bars with quick disconnect control towers. Not installed to drop it all the way to ground goes to 30” as I just back the Mojave in and set it on the RSI cap.
Works great if you are looking for ideas………Jack

I like this a lot. I use a harbor freight electric hoist to lift the RTT on and off the rack.

Thanks, the whole awning and bars weight about 75 pounds perhaps , I put the awning with bars onto my Mojave once by myself never again. Was out on a Jeep adventure for a bit and had to take it off, was much better, it’s going back on for weekend heading to beach! I can stand at back of my Jeep while lowering it slowly onto bar mounts guiding it with one hand lowering it with the other. A boat winch on wall would be harder to guide it exactly……Jack
