I am trying to get the scoop on the Max Tow Axles. What I believe to know so far is the axles housing is the same as the Rubicon, however there is no Electronic locker installed (Tru-Loc). Instead the differential is a limited slip (Trac-Loc). Here is were the information gets cloudy. Rubicon differentials have an offset cross pin requiring the use of offset axle lengths. Do the Max Tow Axle assemblies use the same axle shafts as a Rubicon or do they use axle shafts with no offset, and what is the spline count.
