Back up camera

I have a 2024 Gladiator Sport S. I have the large touchscreen in the dash, but my backup camera is sh!t. It shows closer than you team are. I’ve noticed my buddy’s Mojave has the line in the camera to line up backing in and stuff like that, and his is almost true video with being zoomed in or out. If I bought to Rubicon or Mojave OEM backup camera would it be plug and play???

I believe they downgraded the backup camera with the 2024 model change. The backup camera on my '25 Rubicon is grainy compared to my previous '21 Mojave.

Just get a Wolfbox 900Tripro. Then you get the front trail cam the rear cam and the dash cam and it’s probably cheaper and easier to install than what you’d get from Jeep. Unless you were thinking of going through a pick-a-part then maybe not.

Makes me wonder if you have a bad camera. The front and rear cameras on my 2025 are far superior to the previous one I had. Maybe go to a dealership and look at other cameras to compare.

My Mojave camera is not as clear as my '23 Wrangler was. Not happy about it, but it's such a small amount of time using it that I have learned to live with it. The front camera is noticeably clearer. At night, the rear camera is awful. I have never taken it in because I'm lazy and I know they will say it's normal. Maybe I will address it when I have something major wrong.

I do agree it’s bad at night. But daytime is much clearer on mine.
