Okay, I’m confused. Earlier you said your first payment is almost due. Doesn’t that mean you bought the truck?
I can see how that might be confusing. Here is the timeline.

Wednesday- Got call Jeep is in. Pickup planned for Saturday

Thursday - Did Loan got check

Friday - Got call Jeep has an issue.

You still got the check, you could pay it all off and start from scratch!

No, if you have a vin, and/or have established accounts at some banks or credit unions you can get the loan going and take the check to the dealer to pick up the vehicle. It varies.
I had a check for my 95 F250 before I even had the truck. I just said I was going to buy, signed loan papers, go the check made out to the dealer, went on my way.

Mute point now that the purchase will be made, BUT if the check is never cashed, are you obligated to make payments?

Congrats, Wooderson!

So far so good after 5days of ownership. This thing is awesome.
But as far as what they fixed looking at the work order copy I got. 'Rear axle assy failure" Replace axle/differential assembly

I got the 7 year 100,000 mile $0 deductible warranty for no charge. I have not noticed anything not working correctly. So besides having to wait a little long then I wanted to get the Jeep it seems to have worked out for me.

Thanks for all the advise.

good deal. Glad to hear it’s all straightened out and the dealer did you a solid with the extra coverage. Sounds like maybe it was a locker issue then? I believe you mentioned transfer case sensor before. Maybe the rear locker sensor inside the axle? Curious

It sure sounds like something like that. I don't think my sales guy used the correct wording or just didn't know.
