Every forum is like that. People don’t post to say I drove to work today and had no issues.

Seriously though, no problems with mine since delivery.

Because I read this forum I feel like I am driving a time bomb!
I only have 2000 miles on sport S Max tow and love it, but it's like I am dating a hot chick and just waiting for her to leave. Probably a bad analogy.
Here is the point is there a data base, spread sheet and or survey about milage and no problems and problems. I bet this forum has scared off some people because bad news gets all the press. Just imagine a spread sheet with miles every 5 or 10k stating no problems or what problem you have had. Man I am really hoping this fire cracker red hot chick is a keeper.
Go and buy your favorite morning beverage. Around 7:00 am go to your local Honda/ Toyota/Ford/Chevrolet dealer service lane and watch what gets TOWED in. Yea there are Jeeps , but see how many other brands there are.
I've owned 6 Hyundai's,3 Kia's and 8 Jeeps over the years. Bought a used Hyundai (tmu) in 2002. Tmu means true mileage unknown in car speak. Was a great car. Jeep YJ's and TJ's, if you replace the exhaust manifold and radiator at 100,00 miles they are virtually bullet proof (except for rust). Stellantis is giving current Jeep owners short shrift. They're cashing in on short supply. Great demand. And no one bothering them for responsibility.
If you want a JT buy a JT.
A National publication thinks that any Honda is God's given car to the Automotive public. Is the Honda Fit the world's greatest small car?

The way I look at it F&D you got plenty of warranty left at 2000 miles not to sweet the small things and I believe as long as it wasn't built on Monday or Friday you should be OK since Monday no one wants to be at work and Friday we're all ready to get the he.l out of there ? ? lol

2020 purchased almost 2 years to the day. 28,000 plus miles. One cracked windshield. Nothing else. I am going to order a new Gladiator but waiting on any mid year changes. Maybe another engine option like Wranglers have gotten? Or new colors to choose from?

Have a 22 rubicon diesel and love the thing. Only have a smidge over 2000 miles on it and had 2 CEL's come on. One was P00F3-00 (Humidity sensor circuit performance), dealer is replacing the MAF sensor and the other code is B16EF-11 (Left Park Lamp 1 Control Circuit short to ground). Not sure how or why these codes came about, but it still seems to run perfectly fine. Not 100% sure if the P00F3-00 code came in while I was in the mountains in the snow or if it was the other code that came in. One came in a week later after it was remote started in the driveway.

Just a little back ground I have bought 19 new vehicles mainly Chevys and jeeps.
10 used vehicles. And have never been stranded or needed to be towed. The only recalls we're for seat belt straps and adding trailer hitches to two of the Jeeps to protect the fuel tank.
Now it is true the only other form I participate in is XJ forum because I love working on my 96 XJ doing maintenance and upgrades. It is 26 years old with 170,000 miles on it. On The XJ forum it's about how to fix stuff your self not constantly about what a crappy job Jeep did building this cult classic. So again I ain't scared it's that some of you just a few of you give the wrong impression of the Jeeps we love yes love. That was the reason for asking about facts and figures. I do understand some of you have been dumped by the one you love and that does make one bitter.

Truth.

I remember the JK forum when I bought mine new in 2007. All the posts were like the ones here;

1) What options should I order.
2) Jeep fucked up _____.
3) My dealer screwed me over.
4) What mods should I buy.
5) etc
6) etc.

However, as the JK platform aged the posts slowly started to mature too. I see no reason this will be any different.

If I add on to my house, how big should the addition be - and on which side of the house?
How big should my garage be?
What color shoes are best?
Should I get a Toto or a American Standard toilet?

The what options should I buy always remind me of the above........... uh, what options do you want? I can't tell you what to buy, only what I like and why and for every response like mine, there will be an equal number saying no way in hell.
So get what you NEED or want. It's YOURS, not mine.
Do you NEED mods or want to be part of the macho Jeep in-crowd so Jeep people will all love your truck when they see it - or is it better that YOU love it and your family loves it?
I think people post like that to get confirmation that their thinking is right to the crowd, sort of a "justification". It's why FB and other places have likes - people these days seem to strive to do what pleases others, not what pleases them (thus, homeowners associations that determine what color you can paint your house)

Do what YOU want, not what others want.
