My bed lights turn on when I open my tailgate. Is that the same with you guys?

Mine do not. They and the taillights turn on if a front door is opened. If a rear door is opened the bedlights turn on but not the taillights.
I'm pretty sure yours are on because a door was opened and before they timed out.

FWIW, when the '18 JL Wrangler came out, there were glaring errors in the brochures, owners manuals, AND on the window stickers. So FCA's publications/print dept. needs some new management.

The amount of "features" that are supposed to be there but are lacking is pretty disappointing.

FCA's "We're sorry but......" attitude on this is equally disappointing.

I'd like a real bumper.....
I'd like a trail camera.....
I'd like a brake controller..
I'd like my switch where it was supposed to be...

NO FEATURES FOR YOU!

I'm half way expecting my Gladiator to show up strapped to a skid without differentials

Hi Pat2Alaska,
I appreciate your patience while I did some research on this. This feature is confirmed to not be available. The appropriate team has been made aware that it is mentioned in the Owner's Manual as well as your Uconnect screens and it is going to be looked into. I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.

I appreciate you looking into this. The answer doesn’t make sense though. Why would there be a switch in the bed? My opinion is they need to come up with a replacement lens that has the switch.

I have seen nothing that is plug and play like the OEM ones.

Do the lights come on if you hit unlock on the fob?

I agree! That is total bullshit to sell us on that option and then not offer it. Just like the trailer brake controller not being offered when you are pushing best towing in class.

Thankfully the aftermarket came to the rescue. Plug in modules like the Tazer will allow the lockers in 2WD, 4WD High, whatever you want, plus a couple dozen other settings.
