I used Voodoo Fab universal cross bars to mount a box for our skis. Mounts under the Truxedo tonneau rails. Works great for my needs. Not sure if I’ll do this with the gladiator or mount the box over the cab.

I wish this was possible for a RTT but...

Considering the length of a hard/clam shell roof top tent (longer than the bed), this concept won't work for something as heavy as that as the RTT will have to cantilever out over the back of the Gladiator and the RTT won't handle the unsupported weight.

This bed rack for Tacoma is made to work with Softopper and it works with tonneau cover as well.
I wish they make ones for Gladiator.

I photoshopped some images. I added the ARB type roof basket and larger tires.

The @JcrOffroad bed rack will work with the Access Literider soft fold bed cover. They posted a video of it here on the forum.

You can put standard racks on top. Doesn't exactly fold up well though

I just looked that this and it says waterproof but the system has holes in the bed if it.

the original version was swiss cheese on purpose, after hearing the overwhelming desire for a waterproof version, they changed the design for all of them. The deck is now solid, only holes on side, weatherstripping on all 4 sides.
Is this right @ACE Engineering ?

that's funny. that thing actually looks nice. you can add more stuff easily.
