I plan on purchasing a 4x6 horse rubber stall mat, cut it to fit and see how that works. Cheap, easy and “custom”. The perfect combination.
I like that Idea a lot thank you

@BedRug told me yesterday that the Jeep Gladiator Bed Mat would be out this week. Hoping it's a perfect fit vs. cut to size.

Do you think the bed rug version would be better than this mat of human hair I made?

Bedrug bedmat installed. There is about a 3/4” gap all the way around because this will be the floor for the full kit. To me that’s the only downside of it. Impressed with it otherwise. Seems like it will protect the bed and it is very comfortable to sit/move around on. I will definitely purchase the full kit whenever it comes out. Any questions, let me know.

***EDIT*** I recommend this with a cover. Not sure how well it would do on the highway without one, even with the velcro strips holding it in place. ***EDIT***

How is yours holding up? I just got my order and I was surprised how light it was. I'm not sure what I was really expecting, but I think it's overpriced for what you get. It looks ok, but I'm leery of leaving it in the bed on long trips. If the velcro gives, its 170.00 gone. It would be better paired with a bed cover.

I have a soft tonneau cover and and would be concerned, too, on longer trips without it. (Thanks for pointing that out. I'm going to edit my initial post and say it is great w/a cover.) It is a lot lighter than I thought it would be and I could see it flying out of the bed without a cover on.

I also agree that the price is too high for what you get, but everything I've gotten for the Gladiator (except for things that fit the JL also) seems to be overpriced at this point. Hopefully that changes soon as more third-party items come out.

I went the bedrug route because I wanted to be able to velcro containers to it and keep the bed modular. I got a couple $5 plastic totes and shelf liner from Walmart for little day-to-day trips. The velcro keeps them in place and makes it so I only have to open the tailgate to put stuff in the containers. Then when I need the entire bed I can pop them out.
