Back in 2015 when I bought my first Wrangler, a guy in my neighborhood bought one from a "boutique" car dealer in Dallas. It was sprayed front-to-back in bedliner, and the spray was tinted a grayish-blue to match the factory paint inside the door jambs, hood, etc. He paid WAY too much for it, but it was professionally done, and it looked awesome. Not sure how it aged over time because he moved. As RCKLNDR said, I would mainly be concerned about staining if you just spray them black. But then again, they may stain just as easily with a lighter color.
I had my JKU off road pretty much every other weekend back when I had it and had it in the mud or muddy trails quite often and I never had a issue with them staining. Now my stock fenders eventually got to the point where I could not get the mud stains off of them which is why I ended up getting them bedlined. If you spray them off in a reasonable amount of time after getting mud on them they won't stain. If you let it sit on them then your asking for it, but the same can be said for anything on your Jeep, including tires. I don't know how many times I let mud sit on my tires on my JKU only to eventually go to get it off and find that I can't completely get them clean.

Exactly. That's my only complaint about the black fenders. My '18 JLUR was my first Jeep with painted fenders. I was worried they would chip non-stop. I got one chip on one fender in 2.5 years. No chips so far on my JTR painted fenders.

Considering bed lining my Fender flares on my Jeep because I'm having a tough time finding some rear replacement ones. I got one that got something on it and it's got a couple fade spots on it that I can't get out. Thinking about hitting it with some bedliner all four of them until I can find some replacements. I know it wont stay on forever but if I can get a year or so with them bedlined it would be worth it for me. Need some tips on prep work for them. Probably going with Herculiner or Scorpion Liner have had positive experiences with both in the past. I did my grill myself on my JKU in Herculiner and it came out great but I know I probably didn't prep it right, but it did last almost 2yrs before it started coming off.
Swapped out my Max Tow flares for Rubicon flares w/led's.
Can't really tell from these pics, but the Rubi fenders are 2K Raptor lined and 2K SprayMax clear coated

I agree if you don't have tires sticking out past your fenders or you don't go into some think brush wooded trails then the painted fenders are fine but if you have larger tires that stick out more than a inch or so your painted fenders will suffer. I don't know how many of my buddy have regretted not getting the solid non painted black ones. Lots of dings in their fenders and the scratches from trail brush are probably worse than the dings.

Those look great man, care to share some tips for the job. I got two front fenders hanging in my garage that

I'm going to practice on before I do the ones on the jeep. If they turn out looking good I'll swap them for the two fronts on the jeep.
