Just to provide an alternate opinion (In practice, I didn't actually like the CMM mirrors, mainly the size and shape) these are what we ended up with after maybe half a dozen attempts over two Gladiators and a Wrangler.

Sometimes you get some garbage from the random Chinese (assumedly I suppose) brands, but sometimes you don't.
I have these, and they're my favorite after also going through at least half a dozen attempts, including the expensive cmm and lange mirrors

What do you like about these better than the CMM mirrors?
Cost was a huge factor. But I also like the adjust-ability and increased range of vision.
The CMM mirrors take up less space and I feel like they're lighter but neither of those mattered to me anyway.
The mirrors on amazon don't vibrate, don't bend in with the wind, vision is clear and not cloudy, quick to install and remove, and they can be set vertical or horizontal and adjusted in towards the vehicle or outwards. They can also fold in but I find that to be completely useless.

I’m using the quadratec quick release mirrors. This option works best for me because I run 1/2 and full soft doors at times as well as door less. 1 bolt install, thumb bolt to remove and solid.

The ability to quickly fold them in has saved me from a soaked interior a couple of times. The Rain Gear cover has cutouts for the factory mirrors, but since these (and most doors-off mirrors) sit slightly higher, those existing cutouts don't work as well. With these mirrors, you can just fold them in and chuck the Rain Gear cover on without any issue. It's not like they aren't easy enough to take off completely with the single thumbscrew, but folding them in is even quicker.

I suppose that feature would also come in handy on tight trails, but I have different vehicles for that sort of adventuring.

I've got this cover and it works perfectly. Lines right up with the mirrors(if they're installed in the bottom part of the handle). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBZJW6N9?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_35&th=1
Never thought about usefulness in tight trails. That makes a lot of sense. I only ever go on sand or wide paths.

I just found these today and it looks like they did what everyone wanted CMM to do when they first released theirs. The biggest complaint of cmm was the mirror is too small.

how is the quality of them? Are they as solid as the cmm?

They have some heft and are heavy-duty enough for me to haphazardly chuck them under the back seat and not worry about them getting broken. They are mostly made of a high-density plastic, but what hardware there is is either stainless (at least it appears to be) or black oxide machine screws. I can't say that I have any real complaints with my set.
