I haven't had a haircut since the pandemic started, so I've got a bit of long hair going. When I open the soft top, I like to match my Jeep with a man bun my own. The problem is, even with my hair pulled back, I'm still getting a bunch in my face, no matter how much time I spend trying to catch all my hair. I'm looking for a hat that'll tame my mane with no roof or doors at highway speeds. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Yeah even with my hair up the little stragglers always sneak out. I love hats, probably have 20 or so and don't hesitate picking up a cool design I find. It really depends on your style preference. If you want a Jeep/outdoorsy hat, a lot of folks rock the straw round hats, though not really great for driving around. Just a simple example, tons of people wear these at shows:

Personally, I like regular forward facing bent brim "dad" and "trucker" styles. I have a few funny ones, a few for working around the house, some for everyday, and special occasions (ie: range hat haha.)

I notice you are in NJ, to which I suggest rocking a hat from Jetty. Other good options are Dark Seas Division and Vissla, or Rook if you enjoy the local coffee.

I will say I can wear a hat forward with no top/doors, but one time I took the windshield down and you gotta spin that baby backwards. Good luck in your hat endeavors! :CWL:

I always rock the jersey apparel when I can. I'm likely headed to Cape May this weekend, might pick up something at one of the local breweries down there, to go with my Carton sunglasses.

I haven't worn a baseball cap in years, I've been mostly wearing this, but it doesn't stay on very well with long hair. Plus, with long hair, I feel like I look like Ma Fratelli from The Goonies :CWL:.

I think they make hats specifically for buns/ponytails.

I wonder if I could get a big one made so the Jeep matches.

This will be a fun thread -- here's my go to, though I have the literal opposite to long hair. :) Tilley LTM6 Airflo

My Tilly Mashup lives in the Jeep 24/7. Great hat! I mash it up behind the back seat for when I need it. But, ditto - quite short hair on my head.
