Last set of K02s I put on a dodge Ram 3/4 diesel, all leaked! (10ply). Won’t buy them again.

BFG is not a good wheeling tire with low pressure unless you run bead locks. The last time I ran BFG was on the Rubicon Trail, and the sidewall flexed so much the bead would leak. Ran the Rubicon at 29 pounds to keep the bead from leaking. Replaced them with MT Baja Boss (on my third set) and they handle 10-11 pounds every year at Moab with no headlocks….the BFGs are sitting outside the shop under a tarp and will go with my JK when it‘s sold.

Buy better tires…

Found here for $378 each in C load. https://www.americastire.com/buy-tires/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-t-a-ko2/p/104136

I think the Ko2s are a great tire, they get a lot of hate but they have remained possibly the most popular all-terrain for a reason. Not to discredit others experiences, but They've never let me down on or off-road. Are they the absolute best AT out there? I don't think so but they are pretty damn good for being a fairly old design at this point. The new Ko3 is starting to roll out more sizes, however I think it wont be until late 2026 until they offer it in 37 inch sizes.

I did have an issue where one of my Ko2s was out of round, thus it was making my Jeep vibrate. Luckily this issue is covered under warranty and Americas Tire replaced it for free without hassle and I got a new one a day later. No more vibrations! Just be sure to ask for a Road Force balance!

Sorry you guys weren't happy with your BFG's. But, I've wheeled mine down to 11psi without beadlocks without a single problem. Aired them back up to 30psi and drove I75 home at 75-80 mph from TN to OH. Several times a year. Now that they have 54k miles on them without a problem, I want a new set.

Went to put 37s in a c range on mine and the very first one called for 22 oz with a road force. Tried flipping and rotating the tire a few times with no change. Ended up getting 315s for now and will go with something else in a 37 in the future. I wanted the C range KO2s because of the weight.

I used BFG exclusively for well over a decade with great success, and still have them on my 47 CJ2a (don’t drive it enough to wear out tires). I was happy with them until the Rubicon Trail…then I was very unhappy…just not worth risking the frustration again.

I bought my tires at the Jeep dealer. Buy 3 and 4 for $1. Was the best deal I found . I bought k0 35" and had discount tire mount and balance. Don't know if they can get 37"

FWIW, I love my KO'2s 37 C rated tire. I bought mine through a local shop, paid a little over 300$ a tire in Feb 24. I will buy them again!

That's a great deal! I'm a little salty they are $378 on Americas tire now, I just paid 411 a tire a month ago 🤣

Love my KO2's on my '22 JTSD. I think I paid $325 from the off-road shop that put my lift on a few years ago.

I tend to get the sense that those that do a lot of off-road/crawling don't tend to love the KO2's, but for folks like me who do most of our driving on-road, but do venture off from time to time, they're a fantastic option. I fully recognize if I did more off-roading I'd probably prefer a different tire - one that may come with some on-road detractors.

Hit the nail on the head. Great everyday tire with some off-roading mixed in

Chances are if I'm driving my JT its to the trail head, I love my Ko2s off-road performance. I really like that when you air them down they really flatten out and fold over obstacles. You get a huge contact patch when you air Ko2s down. I've seen tests online where other tires don't benefit from airing down nearly as much as Ko2s because they're way too stiff. To top it off, alot of other brands all terrains don't have 3-ply sidewalls which was a must for me when getting an off-road tire. Tire manufacturers are only recently catching up to BFG with 3-ply sidewalls.
