I've seen a couple of steering upgrade kits state that they don't work with big brake upgrades. Considering I plan on 37s with my EcoDiesel and 4.56 gearing, beefier brakes seem like a good investment. Getting going is only half the fun, after all. IIRC TMR and @Metalcloak come to mind with this statement.

Ideally I'll run the TMR kit when it comes time to swap out the stock drag and tie rod, as they are Canadian and literally local.

Is anyone running 2.5-ton kits and, say, the @TeraFlex Delta brake kit?

Do they say why it’s not compatible? I’m trying to picture what would hit. The brake disc and ball joint being wider?

I’m running Apex with the Delta brake kit. No clearance issues. There’s no reason for any clearance issues that i can think of.

The only thing that I can think of. Is the clearance between the rotor and the tie rod end. A lot of the tie rod ends are much bigger than the oem ones. With a BBK, you get thicker rotors.

Yep, that’s what I was thinking too. I’m gonna call TMR tomorrow and ask.
