Goose Gear is offering deals on pre-orders of their second row seat delete setup. Great if you're setting up for overlanding and want to add some custom mounts for gear OR you have pets that will be spending a lot of time back there!
NOTE: These are preorders so will still be a bit before they ship but if this is something you're considering one to look at.

I was hoping they would come out with something, but this is a disappointment . TOO shallow to be worth any good, IMO ! Hoping it would be twice as deep, even if it means making it shorter to accommodate seat back tilt . . . at least as high as the actual seat would be folded flat . Could be a trip to the Lowes / Home Depot and a friend with some power tools / garage ! ? Save a ton of $$$ in the process .

I almost threw up when I saw that price..over $900 for both sides! I built a custom set of drawers for the rear seat delete in my F-350 and it was under $300...

Lou if you’re actually thinking of doing it I would strongly recommend going to a cabinet supply store and buying the Baltic birch plywood that they are using. It has about twice as many layers for a given thickness and is extremely strong and straight compared to what you’ll find at HD etc.

The front camera will only work with the 8inch screen correct?
Yes, the webpage says 8.4 inch screen only. You could always buy a camera display off of ebay or amazon and just mount it on the dash.

Thanks... I guess it’s not an option for my Overland, it’s not listed in the trim list???
You may want to reach out to them. It is my understanding that it is a function of the screen size you have in your JT vs trim level. It takes the 8.4-inch screen to use the camera.

Anyone feel free to chime in if I have misunderstood.

Exactly right, my sentiments as well . . . penny saved is a penny ready to spend on down the road  ! Hatch doors are a dime a dozen - not really - but, any boat parts dealer has great "doors" they call hatch covers, etc. that can easily be incorporated into a home made (Birchwood) platform . This would be project #1 I'd "farm out" & have made ! And along with a possible NEW Alu-Cab Canopy-Camper coming in 2020 FOR the GLADIATOR I could be :involve: ? ps; LEENTU may be caput ??? Website is no longer "available" ??? I could be ready to do some serious River-Side Camping come Early Fall, just in time for my Fall trip back to the MO. in Montana !

This is great to see, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to order it on their website.
bgenlvtex...I reached out to a contact I have at Goose Gear and he provided some more insight. See below.

Goose Gear is a build-to-order manufacture selling through a network of 65 dealers across the US & Canada. Most are smaller shops but a growing number of them also have an online presence.

In no particular order, here are a couple of dealers that I know have the Gladiator seat delete in their online stores (found through our Find A Dealer page on our website).

https://explorationoutfitters.com/products/ggpjtsl?_pos=4&_sid=b2c7e92c4&_ss=r

Goose Gear’s retail prices include shipping to a commercial address (can be to a dealer, a customer’s commercial address (like work), or as a Hold-For-Pickup at a FedEx terminal).

If you order before Friday 12/6 you get a Swag Pack plus it will ship out before the end of December!

If you have any questions or difficulty ordering, hit me up at [email protected].

...hope this helps if you're interested in pursuing. I see some other folks have chimed in and noted they have DIY'd similar for cheaper and I'd say yes, their stuff is not cheap and if you have the skills, time and patience you can certainly build these yourself but lots of folks who do overlanding and other traveling setups certainly find their engineering and vehicle specific integration to be beneficial. I've seen more than a few overlanders and bloggers showing their Goose Gear setups and complimenting their solid construction and engineering.

I'd check with Adventuon on how they handle that but the contact point at Goose Gear is included in my post if you want to ask directly...

Good luck!

Thanks for that, I talked to Jon by email today and chatted with Adventuron and ordered earlier today.
