It kooks like an easy install and I don't think it will fail. I am just trying to limit the amount of extra things running into the cab..

the hood lock? Yeah, 6 clips pop the grille off and it rivets into 4 existing holes perfectly.
you will need a bigger rivet gun. I got one at harbor freight, 24.99 in a red and white box. I did have to squeeze each rivet 3-4 times before they popped but they are rock solid.

I actually have the Mac Daddy of rivit guns!! I have the DeWalt 20v cordless rivet gun. It will do stainless rivets with ease!!!

I want to say that the rivets that come with the kit have the equivalent of a 16 penny nail in them they’re pretty beefy
If you open your hood and look at the four premade holes that surround your hood latch, you’ll see the size of the rivets

What was I thinking, I ordered some locking hood latches thinking that could some what keep an intruder from access the engine compartment WRONG. A 2 year old could overcome the locking lever on these aftermarket Latches. I put them back in the box and ordered the BOLT.

These hood latches are aluminum have same look as OEM, look great really. but the lock is simply to keep the latch from inadvertently opening not to keep someone out.
Other thing is the key has to be left in the lock when open.

I ordered the BOLT seems to be the best solution.

These are from Amazon review, person who installed the BOLT left the cover on put some slits in it looks good.

I really like the Bolt, had it in my previous Gladiator. I can’t use it in the new one since I have the front camera.

Heck! I think those are my photos, lol, I recognize the keychain!

Thank you for the feedback on the latch locks. I was looking at those.

The Lasfit looks like a well engineered solution but I was looking to see if a simpler approach/solution was available for those with front camera.

Did you cut a access hole so you don't have to remove the cover to lock & unlock? I can't tell from the pics.

Those are my photos, when I did it on the previous Gladiator. I did not modify the grill. Did not wanted to do so.

I did two cuts on the rubber cover, filled the lock with grease, and done! Worked like a charm.

Everything, in the Mojave at least, fits behind the grill.

Too bad I can't do the same with the new one as the camera is in the way.

Thanks. If I did add one I wouldn't want to cut the grill up either
