So I’d like to say hello since I am new here, not new to jeeps but this forum. Unfortunately I came across this forum after I was searching for lemon law/buyback info. I’ll start with a quick backstory, i purchased my second new gladiator Mojave June 22 of this year, upon signing the papers and completing the purchase my wife and I hoped in the brand new 22 model gladiator Mojave 6speed manual, Stuck it in reverse to back out and leave and saw the rear cameras was very glitchy and looked like a tv channel you didn’t have in your cable plan. I contacted the salesman immediately and he told me to just call service in the morning and they would take care of it. So I did just that, they told me 2-3 weeks for an appointment, so I dropped it off the night before the appointment and left. They called the next day to tell me they had to order a part and they would let me know when it came in to make another appointment. I picked it up and saw half of my front carpet not tucked under the center console anymore, I thought it was sloppy but no big deal, tucked it back in and left with my camera not working. Fast forward a month, no word from the dealership, I contacted the salesman and asked if he had heard or could check on my parts, he tells me they have been there for 2 weeks or so and to call service in the morning to get it in. So I call and get another appointment setup in 3 weeks. So this time I drop it off the night before as I always do, take photos of my camera surround and most other parts of the jeep and they will be working in that area and left my vehicle sloppily put together last time it was in for service, they told me they did not have a loaner vehicle for me. (I did not ask while on the phone because I assumed they knew, my mistake) so I had my wife pick me up. They called the next day and told me it was all done and fixed. So I went to pick it up after work(the service dept was closed) and I immediately saw they had damaged my camera cover and the bezel around the radio. So I walked inside to get the salesman to show him before I left, to have a credible witness it happened before I left. When I arrive home to back into the driveway I find the camera is still glitching (about 80% better) but still not right. I called the service dept again the next day and tell them it is not fixed and they need to replace the damaged pieces. They tell me they will order the parts and get the camera cover painted ahead of time and let me know when they were in. Another month goes by with no word so I called and they told me the parts were in and to make an appointment, again another 3 weeks out. So the day comes I take it the night before, ask them to please change the oil, rotate, and address the loose and jingling emergency brake. The next day I get a call saying they found the issue and will need to order the part and it will be done Monday(it was Friday) and to stay in the loaner over the weekend. Well after 3 weeks, many phone calls on my end, no updates unless I called or showed up. They were working with Chrysler to trouble shoot as it’s warranty work, they replaced the camera twice, the tailgate and jumper harness, removed my entire interior (less dash) and replaced the entire body harness. I was originally told they also replaced the radio, I picked it up Friday the 28th of October. The next morning not only did my camera glitch as it did before but that evening the whole screen turned blue and said “camera system unavailable”. I called and let them know how displeased I was with this result and they told me maybe the radio is bad. But offered no solution. Meanwhile during the 3 weeks of no communication or updates I opened a case with jeep cares and they were to expedite the responses from Chrysler to move it along. I contacted them Monday October 31st to let them know I would like to move forward and start the process for a buyback, after a few days they responded and told me they will not be buying it back and could give no reason. After a few choice words they basically told me to fuck off and talk to my selling dealership for a buyback(the same dealership that hates me at this point and couldn’t fix the issue in the first place. Now I am also getting airbag lights and warnings randomly to include emails from jeep telling me to bring my vehicle in for airbag service. What am I supposed to do next? Anyone been screwed like this before? I was always a fan of other manufacturers vehicles but my wife and I really liked her 18 wrangler so we have then bought 5 Chrysler products from the same dealership in the past 4 years, and one none Chrysler from the same salesman. I feel like I’m getting brushed under the rug and that pisses me off more than anything.

Wow my 22 JTM no issues yet but its less that 1,000 miles. I had a issue with a Isuzu dealership north of Pittsburgh years ago I went on the sales floor on a Saturday when they were busy telling their customers about the poor service from the maker and the dealership. Isuzu called me many times on Monday (I let the first few go to VM) telling me to take it to whatever dealer I wanted to. The next dealer replaced a 110.00 cable fixed my problem after months of run around. I hope you get it resolved I think this could happen with dealer.

I hope you have better luck with yours, I had a 2021 Mojave last year with no issues at all, in fact I liked it so much I have convinced two of my close buddies to buy gladiators at the same time I got this 22 so we could take jeep trips. Needless to say I haven’t taken any and now feel like a fool after speaking so highly of jeep.

Need to follow whatever your state lemon law process is. A voluntary buyback is not necessarily a lemon law claim. Lemon Law process will force them actually address and fix it or buy you out.

Sucks to hear.

What Hootbro said! He nailed it. Don't talk to Jeep or Jeep cares or tech support or those on the phone. They aren't ever involved in this sort of thing. They can't help and don't want to hear your threats.

Keep cool and calm - and show your dealership this -

https://www.dot.state.pa.us/public/dvspubsforms/BMV/BMV Fact Sheets/fs-lemon.pdf

And know this -

The law covers problems that occur during the first 12 months or 12,000 miles of ownership. The problem must substantially impair the value, use or safety of the vehicle. Each time you take your vehicle to the dealer for service or repair, the dealer must provide you with a copy of the repair invoice. The dealer must also notify the manufacturer that your vehicle has been brought in a second time for the same problem. As long as the first problem occurs during the first 12 months or 12,000 miles of ownership, you are covered for any subsequent problems occurring after that point.

The law allows the manufacturer three repair attempts for the same problem. If the repairs are unsuccessful and the problem substantially impairs the value, use or safety of the vehicle, you may demand a refund or replacement vehicle. Also, if your car is at the dealership for any repairs for a cumulative total of thirty days during the first 12 months or 12,000 miles, you may demand a refund or replacement.

The manufacturer is allowed to receive a reasonable offset for your use of the vehicle that you are having problems with. That refund offset can total no more than 10% of the purchase price of the vehicle or $.10 for each mile driven before the first reported repair. If the manufacturer cannot replace your particular model or year, you must be given a comparable vehicle of equal value.

One of my friends had a similar problem with his brand new Ram 3500 Cummins truck. His was with the big touch screen radio. They replaced it twice and Dodge flew in some "Super Tech" and he couldn't figure it out. Dodge put him in another truck.

three words for you. local news station.

every station normally has that person on staff who likes to go out and look for issues and make their viewers aware of problems and how they help the complainant. makes them look like they are the ones looking out for their viewers.

let me assure you that no dealer wants to be on camera being asked why they are not taking care of their customer? i can almost promise you, if you can get that ball rolling, your mojave will get fixed pronto.
