I like this build a lot and is close to our build plan. We have a sport with the max tow on 40s and now are changing it up with the mojave. We already picked up the arb front locker and rcv shafts but are waiting on gears to install.

Are you planning on any skids?
My plan for skids is to do certain areas and not a full belly system as they get very heavy and a pain to remove when you need to get to things.

I have already bought (not installed yet) lower control arm and shock skids from Rock Hard 4x4 and another control arm skid from Rusty's to protect the frame mount bracket that I already smashed pretty good.

I will likely get an engine / transmission skid and do heavy duty diff covers.

I look forward to watching your Mojave build.

I will have some more additions / upgrades to share soon as I've been working with PRP Seats to develop products for the Mojave Trim of the Gladiator. I also added some limit straps to the rear since at full droop my rear coils become unseated. In the meantime here is a video of my Gladiator in Sand Hollow (Hurricane), UT.

Aside from it being on 40’s with a 3.5” COR lift, what are the rest of the build specs?

I really love the video, it's a new inspiration for my build. You drive smart, had great spotters, and I'd like to wheel with you guys sometime. I just purchased a 2022 JT Sarge Geen Rubicon, and today ordered BFG Mud Terrain 39x13.50 and Hutchinson Rock Monster double beadlocks. I'm considering the EVO 3"-5" Enforcer PRO Stage 4 Plus lift with 2.5 King external reservoir shocks. I'm installing a Steer Smart Yeti XD Pro Series Aluminum Tie-rod Assembly along with the Yeti XD No Drill Top Mount Drag Link. I'll wheel it to test out how well (or not) the steering handles on rocks, but imagine soon afterwards I'll want to add PSC Hydro-assist. Like you I'll truss the front and rear axles now, and put ARB diff covers front and rear. I'm looking and saving for the right bumpers, winch, skids and under armor. However, I need to wait a bit to upgrade to a RCV shaft (without FAD), change gearing to 5.13, dual batteries, lights, and a rack, those mods may be more like late 2023 or summer 2024. I'll be following this awesome thread. Thanks!

Edit: I'm now considering the lift you installed, please confirm it's part number COR-3010035.
Jeep Gladiator 3.5" OVERLAND PLUS Lift Kit 2020+, JT
https://www.claytonoffroad.com/product/jeep-gladiator-35-overland-plus-lift-kit-2020-jt
And I would add the Fox 2.5 Elite DSC shocks.
This would save money as compared to the EVO + King setup I was initially planning, and from the video I can tell your vehicle performs very well and it's quiet too.

Another potential choice is the Metal Cloak Game Changer 3.5" lift.

I would love to get together and wheel sometime and I appreciate the kind words. I was going to buy a Sarge Green Gladiator but once on the lot I got mezmorized by the Hydro Blue. You have a very good gameplan for your build. Quality stuff, in fact I'm eyeballing the Yeti Aluminum Tie-Rod myself along with the RCV axle shafts with FAD delete.

I love my Fox 2.5 Elite with DSC's.

Yes that is the correct part number for the Clayton Lift. I get a ton of flex and yet the bushings are very quite.

Today I worked on mocking up the Barnes 4WD Pritchett Canyon bumper and SuperWinch SX10000. The bumper is a perfect look to the Mojave and the construction and welds are a thing of beauty. I decided to paint the bumper with Rustoleum Textured Satin Black most because I didn't want to wait till Tuesday for Powdercoating plus Rustoleum is easy to touch up after Off-Roading.

I'm hoping to get my Apex Steering Booster installed tomorrow and then get everything installed for good. Updates to follow.

Its a Great Bumper and one of my favorite modifications. Barnes4wd is the same company as 7slot customs. The 7slot name was just the jeep division of Barnes but I believe they are back to just one name now.

A few more upgrades to share now that I've been rock crawling a few times in the Mojave. On my first local trial I found out that I have more droop than my rear springs could handle and both my springs became unseated. Before I took the jeep to Utah for a extended offroading trip I knew I needed to fix the problem. I decided to add limit straps. I bought some tabs and had a buddy weld them on as close to the springs as we could get. After articulating the suspension it was determined I needed 18" straps for where the tabs were welded. I went with PRP limit straps. During all my days on the trail in Utah I never once unseated a rear spring. Very happy with this upgrade and all done for less than $100.

While I was in Sand Hollow, UT I busted my rear tail light off on a trail called "The Fallen" which is rated a 9. I've been wanting to upgrade the rear lights to flush mount Oracle led lights and this gave me the perfect reason to upgrade. I was able to JB Plastic weld the broken tab on the light to get home to California. The Oracle lights are so much brighter and better looking. I think I paid $340 total for them.

I almost forgot I also added some lower control arm skids and rear shock skids. The rear lower control arm bracket at the frame seems to be the low hanging fruit I always hit so I ordered some skids from Rusty's OffRoad. I had my buddy weld these on when he welded the tabs for my limit straps.

The rest of the skids are bolt on from Rock Hard 4x4 and cover the front lower axle mounts, the rear lower axle mounts, and the rear lower shock mounts. I had these on my 2016 JK and found them useful so I'm happy to once again add them to my Gladiator.

I don’t think I saw it anywhere but you’re not running aftermarket axles right ? Factory with gears and upgraded shafts or did you swap out ?

If your Gladiator suddenly looks a lot smaller.

It wasn't me swapping mine for yours in the middle of the night
