So, since someone decided to back into my truck (and not leave a number or note)… I’m trying to figure out the best way to get this fixed.

-can I order this piece somewhere?
-quickest/simplest to just find a bumper on marketplace?

Were you already thinking aftermarket? Seems like the jeep gods have helped you if you are looking factory. Can you tell if the mount bent (pic from under) if the mount bent unless you weld. Factory replacement might be expensive

If you are wanting to stay factory, just look on the marketplace here but you will probably have better luck looking local on FB Marketplace and/or craigslist. They go for $200 or less a lot of times so be patient if somebody is listing for more and they do not take an offer price.

Edit: Also be flexible in looking as the other model JT's will have different trim accents and your particular model may be slow to show up.

As said above…stock…FB Marketplace or Craigslist. ~$100 or so.

The stock plastic bumper…as a takeoff ($ wise)…is an oversized paperweight. With the amount that I’ve seen listed in the x < $150 range, anyone that’s listed a bumper north of that isn’t REALLY trying to get rid of it.

If you want something else though, this is a great excuse to do it.

This is definitely a sign that your Gladiator wants, needs, and DESERVES a better bumper. I was thinking of the Mopar steel bumper, but good aftermarket bumpers are available for considerably less money. I would recommend upgrading to the aftermarket bumper of your choice.

Looks like it is time for the sort of steel bumper that leaves the other guy's pieces hanging off their vehicle and you with a scratch you can fix with a black sharpie:)

That piece you are talking about just fastens to the back of the bumper, is that the only damage, bumper does not look bent, just reattach the piece with Christmas tree plugs. Bumpers if slightly bend are easy to just pull back, which you should do while ordering a steel bumper….Jack

If it were me, I'd take this as a sign to buy my favorite aftermarket steel bumper. On the other hand, I had a '15 JKU I sold to buy my Gladiator. I was wheeling one weekend in it and I slowly slid off the trail into a tree doing damage very similar to the OPs. Rather than sell the Jeep damaged, I was able to find someone giving away a pristine plastic bumper just to clean out their garage. Free OEM bumpers can be had.
