At Hooke Road, we're never satisfied with just bumpers. That's why we've added grille guards to the mix!
Our bumpers come in various styles: full-width, mid-width, stubby, and bumpers with bull bars. And now, we've got bumpers with grille guards!
Let's take a look at them. Any ideas you post here will be taken into consideration for our future designs!

Is the one with the full grille covering a prototype to show the general design idea? Using small bolts all over like that seems like there'd be many weak points for the bolts to sheering in an accident/off road damage.

Also, the rectangular base of the design (covering the frame rails and such) seems very basic and boring.

I'm not sure whats going on with the very thin vertical metal brackets holding up the grille guard. It almost looks like the grille guard could fold down somehow, but even still, I think those four vertical supports/mounts should be thicker and maybe contoured to the chape of the bumper more and not so much just shooting vertically up/at a slight angle.

I'm not a fan of the fog lights being square. I think the factory round mounting solution would look better and if customers wanted to mount rectangular/square pods, there could be an alternate bracket to select from (if that makes sense).

I do like the tube style mid-width aspect to that new design and the shape of the grille guard itself. I don't think it'd block too much light.

All this said, it's a promising design. But if I'm being honest, I don't like the full width or the mid-width designs. I'm not a huge fan of the stubby but it's alright.

I will be honest, all those bumpers just look like they are cosmetic only if one is going to be running a "Mall Rated" vehicle. The heavy use of 1/8" steel in all of them reinforces that to me.

I like the stubby. Wish it was 3/16" and welded. And used oem fog lights.

My vote is for modular. Full width on the road, stubby off road.

I’m looking for an oem style with loops. Not a full grille bar. My reason why is below.

I’m not saying yours would do this, just that this style of guard has done this on many platforms. It happened on my old extra.
will it protect minor impacts, I’d bet it will. The full guards have a tendency to do more damage than they prevent ON ROAD.
In a head on collision, or collision with an object they will push in destroying the engine.
They lift from the mounts and sort of fold over onto the engine.
the point being that I hope you look into yours and hope you can improve upon the crap out there and give us more protection than your competitors 😃 which by the looks of your products you will.

Should have said bumper with grill guard. Not the stubby.

I like the grille bar. The design there actually looks good, but like someone else mentioned, please cut down on the bolts. A bolt together grill bar gives a cheap, I bought-it-at-Walmart feel. no thanks. The main upright bars should be one piece. I would like to see it added a stubby bumper option

I like that tubular bumper MINUS the full grill guard. Maybe just a single hoop that comes half way up the grill.

Hi there, I guess there's no point in arguing. Facts speak louder than words.
Below is an incident that really happened to one of our customers. The white car in the middle of the video was fitted with one of our bumpers, and the owner even told us afterwards that she only had a small scratch on her car, while the bumpers on the front and rear of her car were completely scrapped!

I've got one similar to the one on white Jeep, the downside to it is high mounting of winch and to light of guage metal on many parts of it. The reason why I got the one I did was in case of deer mainly. My first choice is for protection of the vehicle, looks are secondary. A mid or full width bumper is my choice too.
BTW. The roof bars I got from your company are holding up good with 2 100w panels mounted on them, with slight modifications.

Maybe you mean this style? "tubular bumper without grill guard"
We're always designing new styles, but maybe there's still a long way to go.

Glad to hear it.
We totally agree with you, "My first choice is to protect the vehicle, looks are secondary."
