I've mounted my mobile to my Corws Nest MOLLE panel, and I'm trying to figure out how long an antenna cable I need to run it down the windshield, out the driver's firewall and across to the passenger cowl mount.

I can't really do the driver's side as I plan on getting the AEV snorkel for my EcoDiesel.

Has anyone else done this, and know the approximate length?

What kind of antenna mount are you using? Most come with 17ish feet of cable. That would be enough.

The 17’ should work. If you’re going to be making your own cable run some twine down your route and measure it out. More work but it comes out cleaner without the extra wire looped somewhere. Going out he passenger side you can hide a loop behind the glove box so I wouldn’t go to the trouble of making a wire. Go with the 17’ and shove the extra down in the bowels.

Yeah, I was thinking the 17' would work, and I could trim and crimp the end if I didn't want a loop somewhere. I was trying to avoid the "measure with twine" option. :D

I have had experience (bad) running wiring through the passenger side firewall grommet. I do not want to experience it with the Gladiator.

NMO installed on an AAL Light and Antenna mount cowl bracket.

Pics please!!!! I think that’s the mount I’ve been eyeing for future purchase.
I'll grab pictures of it tomorrow. They are already mounted (minus the antenna bracket portion) with KC Titan Pros.
