Is your Jeep lifted? Asking because a 180/270 awning is on my list of things to get. My rubicon is not lifted and i have rebel off road half rack. While my wife and i are 5’3, we can be fine mounting it but obviously for others it‘s too small so I’m just curious. I think if we do a 3” lift and get 35s we may be fine. We knew this would be a challenge with a half rack

I love camping with the JT. So much easier to pack up. Wish we had overlanding locations but, there are decent state parks. Cant wait to upgrade the popup to a small BH camper. Northhampton campground (buddy - red jeep) and I and then thompsons lake - NY. My son just had to hide in the bed. lol

The factory 2.5” lift, on factory 33’s. When we get to Florida, I will put a new set of 35’s, but not sure which ones. The Darche awning is awesome, best quality on the market, IMHO. Setup in 4-5 minutes, breakdown in 5-6 minutes. Three extra poles, all the guys and stakes, and the beefiest mounting brackets ever.

After the Badlands, it was a short drive to Keystone South Dakota and Mount Rushmore. I lucked out and found the last spot to camp at Horse Thief Lake. Weather was perfect and I took a swim in the Lake.

Love it! We’ll be in the Black Hills next weekend! Can’t wait to get to the Badlands too, then heading over to Yellowstone for a few days, then down through the Tetons, and back to Denver

A few days of camping in Yellowstone. The hot showers were nice after a week of camping in Montana, Badlands, and the Black Hills!

Still camping at the Alberta Overland Expo west of Edson, Alberta. 2 days in of 3. The vendors, beer gardens and people are all amazing. We are coming back next year!

Opened it for first time to air out….much nicer than my old smittybilt. Can’t wait for temp to drop

After a thunderstorm in the RTT at Naomikong Point (beach pic), I created a just-in-case, sleep-in-the-cab setup for my 5yo and me. He'll sleep in the folded down back seats, and I rigged up a hammock-thing. It's comfortable enough for about 4 hours of sleep ?.

From this past July, didn't really think about grabbing any camp pics, these were sort of "in passing". Took mom (76) up near Kremmling in dispersed camping with the kids.

A bit old school as far as to the setup but the truck allows me to take enough stuff to make my mom comfortable in camp and the kids (now grown and on their own) love that we can still do this kind of thing.

Will try and grab more pics on next week's trip.
